I go to this movie review website called www.rottentomatoes.com and every critic there hated it (got 0% of 100%).

should it even be surprising to anyone that this movie is shit?

i was laughing when i read the rottentomatoes reviews. my fav are:

"I fought the urge to punch someone once it finally ended."

"It's the sort of bizarre, ill-conceived picture you can't believe exists, but are secretly glad it does."

"A recent episode of South Park suggested that a fourth-grader's hand puppet could turn in a better performance than Ms. Lopez, and in the case of Gigli, it's hard to argue."

"There's virtually no story, no conflict, no tension and no suspense, just the endless droning of the worst dialogue written in recent memory."

"A rigli, rigli bad movie."

"Gigli rhymes with "really." As in "really bad," or "really offensive," or "really wish Id remembered my gun so I could just shoot myself now and end the misery.""

"Ach. Oy. Woe and poo, bleccch and uck! ZZZZZ-zzz."

"There are so many bad moments in Gigli, it's a shame to single out only a few."

"Nearly as unwatchable as it is unpronounceable."

"A huge waste of celluloid."

"Gigli is so horrible I had to go cleanse my palate afterward by watching Glitter."

its keeps getting better and better reviews lol

I know!! She can't act or sing....but i'd hit that shit any day!!

Posted by Psionic on Aug-02-2003 04:55:

That's the irony in all this. She's got a great body, yet she sucks at everything else she does, but everyone worships her. I'd like to see her in a porno, that'd be interesting

Posted by dj cypher on Aug-02-2003 05:13:

sounds by the reviews that the reviews themselves are more entertaining than the movie.....i'm tired of jlo, she sucks at everything but is successfull cause guys and alot of girls want to hit that

dosnt J-Lo sell millions of albums? how can she be bad at doing that?

and who buys these albums? obviously 13-15 year olds who feel that they need to listen to her music just to be "hip"

her music terrible...anybody with common sense would realize that

Critics are usually morons in my experience, but in this case, I'll gladly take their word for it.

"The danger here is succumbing to what people in the business call 'option paralysis'being caught with so many good ideas that you're not sure which one to use," Brest said. "Getting shot is fine, but what about an automobile fire in which Ben and Jennifer are shown perishing in a slow-motion montage, their newfound love discarded as they try desperately to claw their way past each other's melting bodies, while slowly roasting to death in their own fat? You'd be surprised at how many people came up with that one. Or having them crawl through a field of broken glass while a safely booted and gloved Christopher Walken casually advances on them with a spray bottle of acid and a pair of bolt-cutters? I must say, a part of me loves the idea of them chewing each other to death during a 14-minute dolly shot."
