I'm using reason 2.0 and I'm looking for a massive kick sample.. You have any idea?

Grab yourself some kicks and try layering them together.

And don't forget to try out different levels of compression.

That's right. I think the Reason standard kicks are good enough if you use an EQ and a compressor to push them.

And, can u give me an example ?
I tried to take 2-3 kicks together.. but i didn't get a great kick....

ok a good way to get thoose basic kicks sound out of the ordenary is to layer them, and this is a good way to do it...

first go find yourself a kick with a fairly good boost in the lower freq. range (in other words a kick with much bass in it)

when you have that one sorted out and set up you need to find a kick with a more mid freq. sound to it to get it a little more distinct

now that you have thoose you have the option to stay there (they will work, just depends on what fit's the song and not) or to go on and find a third kicksound with high frequencies in it and layer it up with the other two kicks...

if youre working in the reason redrum I sugest you play around a little with the sample length knob on each kickchanel to remove any unwanted sounds in the samples. Also try out different levels on them to get them to fit together and sound good.

finaly you should connect equalizers and a compressor to each kick and tweak the shit out of them so you get a good and phat sound on the kick without any cliping (remember this...if your'e using the redrum don't just put the eq and compressor on the whole redurm....if you press tab you will see that each channel has it's own outputs...guess you can figure the rest out by yourself....just wrote this in case you didn't know)

by now you should have a pretty sexy kick in your speakers
