Smart move Bush will get reelected....

What a smart move by the reps, If you're Bush you must be smiling al the way now.
The only state that is a must to get reelected is Cali, and now with Arnold, it's pretty sure Bush will get victory unless something drastic happens.
Arnold will get to become gov with his pro war views and things will get worse, specially using his I'm doing this for the family working type, shit anyways crystal clear ....

my view on arnold running...

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=121792

dont think we need another topic about cali's recall

Posted by occrider on Aug-07-2003 20:44:

Even if arnold gets elected as governor, that's not going to change the democratic makeup of the state of california.

LoL Arnold as governor lol... Hes just running, not that he will be elected. Id hate to be on California's shoes.

he's gonna win

Posted by fuct4less on Aug-09-2003 06:54:

with all the media attention arnold is def. gonna win, unless gary coleman uses some of his keebler elf magic

Posted by prolikewhoa on Aug-09-2003 16:35:

gary coleman is running?!

oh man.

so we have arnie, lil gary, hustler man larry flint and some porn star chic?

i'd really hate to be in cali's shoes.

Posted by rizo on Aug-09-2003 16:45:

theres still about 60 days left, anything can happen. this is what i think will happen

sheep will vote for arnold due to all the media attention

real republicans wont vote for arnold, his for gun control, a womans right to choose, for gay rights. it will probaly be split up between bill simon and peter ueberroth

most democrats will vote not to recall but will select bustamante incase it goes through

aslo the soon to be former mayor of SF said if a republican is voted in, he will fund the recall of that governor

Posted by Renegade on Aug-09-2003 17:45:

I just saw on Fox News (I was only flicking through! I swear! ) that if the Republicans win, the Democrats will submit another recall form straight away to the Republican candidate on the podium as he does his victory speach.

Two questions:

1) How is it possible to do a recall when the guy's still in the middle of his term?
2) How is it possible that the recall can be recalled? Is there some limit to the amount of recalls that can be done?
3) Nothing. There is no third thing.

Without understanding it at all, the entire thing seems a bit odd to me..... not least because of all the b-list candidates set to run in it.

(PS: First person to spot the Monty Python reference wins a party hat.)

To answer your first question, the Constitution allows recalls if at any point the official isn't doing what they are supposed to be.

anything is possible ever since jessy vantura(the wrestler) was elected to be the governor of minisota..

its gonna be melon smashing fun!

i think gray davis just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and the republicans, seeing an opportunity, seized it. i dont blame the guy for the state of the economy
