Me like! Don't know what people who've never heard the original would think though...

Posted by xakep on Aug-12-2003 11:56:

Dunno

Hmm i think that average tume from B&J...full leight rip is avaible
08:38 min...i give 6.5/10...and needet instrumental vocals its sometimes sound like man scream "gay nado"(gay needet) ..
so its my IMO.

promo vinyl original mix is out =)) i think its quite good after a couple of times...

they could have used their energetic synths in it as always.. =)

Nothing will beat the original But it is a fairly good track. Maybe I will like it more after a couple of listens.

I only wonder if Robert Smith did the vocals again, they sound so clear in this remix compared to original takes.

Yep, he recorded the vocals again and he will also play in the video together with Blank & Jones.

So I am a little disapointed of this track. I have more expected
Well the vocals by Robert are great again, but the sound is to simple and a little bit boring.

5/10

I haven't heard this. Is it a remix of an old Cure track or summink?

Is'a new version of the 20 year old THE CURE track "A Forest" which Blank & Jones made together with THE CURE Leadsinger Robert Smith!

sweet

Posted by Sirocco on Aug-18-2003 15:47:

i love it a ton!

doesnt beat slide remix tho

Posted by magnasoma on Aug-18-2003 15:58:

This is a really good track.

I first saw Cure in '92 and then saw them again last year, and i've loved this track for more than half my life, so its damned nice to hear.

There's a slightly iffy tempo change in the "Again and again and again..." part, but otherwise fkin great. Glad to see Captain Bob has put the effort into re-recording the vocals.

I like Robert Smiths voice and the Cure as well but I like the Minimalistix version better (along with the remixes of their version).

filterheadz is best. no competition.

Amazing tune. Must check the original. It's by The Cure then? I'm gonna go looky looky....

Posted by frontebb on Aug-22-2003 01:00:

wuaw, impressive. I've always been into the Cure so that vocalz are nice with the melody. I will have to check out those remixes first now.

I was always particularly fond of the live version from The Cure In Orange concert. Great stuff.

Great track 8/10...but am I the only one that thinks it sounds just like "Cream"?

Posted by Steven Hays on Aug-26-2003 19:03:

Just released yesterday and it is simply WOW! Great set opener. Has an 80's vocal feel to it! I'm in LURVE! 9/10

peace.

Steve

Ha, just found out it was the frontman from THE CURE on the vocals... GOD I LOVR 80's!

Robert Smith actually worked with Blank and Jones on this!? damn, could this be RS finally getting into trance? He would produce trance 10 times better than any trance producer today, unreal talent.
