Question Israelic Trance

Hi
I was wondering witch Israelic Trance producers do you like and if so, what tracks would you recommend?

Posted by YuVaL on Jun-23-2001 10:35:

Okay... first of all.... israeli producers are kinda cheep... like eyal barkan.. he buys all his fuckin songs from yahel... that sux!..

well if you want a really good israeli trance... go download
Holymen - The Last Universe (Live Remix)

this is one of the trax i really really like...

Posted by on Jun-23-2001 10:51:

lol, yeah, Eyal Barkan really sucks man, but hey, the little children likes him
You should see the feedback he and Oren got at Indipendace day at Be'er Sheva bro, they really like them, don't ask me why but thats what happened there

Anyway, Holymen is my cusin so I think I know each and every single track he ever produced, released or even thought about producing

Anyone else?

well maybe eyal barken sux but yahel is a great israeli producer

Posted by on Jun-23-2001 11:27:

Yahel is awsome, but I don't really like his style, the only thing I like about him is to see him perform, he's building an amazing progressive set, just try to listen to it istead of jumping up and down all the time.

Posted by SeeK on Jun-23-2001 14:24:

Yahel Kicks ass... Voyage was/still is a kick ass track, but isnt that done with Eyal Berkan?? thats what is says on the record.. =P Or u saying Eyal pay'd him to put his name on there? hehehe... anyways. peace... Yahel Rules.

Posted by YuVaL on Jun-23-2001 15:04:

Well... i guess he payed him
cause eyal barkan dosen't really know how to produce tracks..
i hate him

Posted by on Jun-23-2001 16:04:

Everyone thinks that Eyal Barkan rules because they don't know that Yahel acually produced this track and SOLD it to him!

His nothing but a lame ass DJ who thinks he could control the trance scene in Israel if he opens his own record label!

LOL!!!

Posted by YuVaL on Jun-24-2001 09:59:

What gil just said is 100 % true!.. for any of you israeli lamers that dont know eyal barkan and think he rox..HE TOTALLY SUX ASS!! thats what i think about him... =)

Posted by Jah on Jun-24-2001 10:05:

Holymen are so cheap and cheesy for being psy-trance. Hate them. Just read the reviews of their album on http://goatrance.free.fr .
There are so many better producers in Israel.
Astral, Yahel, Infected and all the others.

Exclamation DJ Yan

I'm surprised no one mentioned DJ Yan!

He's a rising star in Israeli trance, many of his compositions are at mp3.com/djyan. They are great, very melodic and moving!

I especially like "Universal" and "We see the same moon."

DJ Yan is NOT an israeli rising star.
I don't think you know that but he went with his creations to major Israeli record labels such as: Krembo, MDMA, Ella Gutman...and they all turned him down.

And, an israeli newspaper editor asked me to be interviewed for the paper and when I refused (I had my reasons), he went to him.

I'm sorry but although his music is kinda nice, he won't be a rising israeli star if he won't get himself together and really work on him tunes to make them more proffecional.

Gil Shwarts.

Posted by Eugene on Jun-26-2001 02:34:

Yeah, I agree he needs to work on professionalism. But hey, the kid is like 18 yrs old, if he can already write such nice tunes, imagine what he'll probably be able to do in a few years!

I don't pretend to be an expert on the Israeli trance scene, but I'm surprised the record companies turned him down. He does have talent, and as for the professional sound -- well, that's what the professional studio is for. And he never got that chance.

By the way, what did you mean when you said "he went to him" for the interview? I didn't understand that.

Thumbs up Holymen

As soon as I read the first message I thought "Holymen" then I suddenly read that he's your cousin, that's cool. Tell him he has fans as far as Venezuela, we even used a track of his (that one with the tarzan sounds) in this show we had in Venezuela..really cool. By the way, I never thought of him as a trance DJ/producer from the CD I have. It's more like rave music, excellent fast paced heavy beats.

Isn't Astral Projection Isreali?? Their probably the best goa ever made and I'm pretty sure they're from Israel...if not, then I'm wrong.
