Taste of the Danforth - 10th Anniversary

Hmmm, so, I think I'll be heading over there on Sunday.
I'm sure some of you have attended this event before. How was it? Anyone planning on going this weekend?

It'll be my first time checking this thing out and I'm looking forward to it.

Trust me, this festival is a killa ... ate so much last year! Almost had to eat one thing from each stand.

Here is an advice though ... the longest line is worth waiting for!

I loove that festival!! I'm goin saturday afternoon..look for me!
It's the taste of the danforth and I understand most of the food you can get there faster some other times, but what makes it so good is that a lot of ppl go there only when the festival is...I don't know about you, but I do like seeing different ppl and different cultures being as typical as they can be...more so being themselves in other words and I can learn a lot just from watching them and experiencing things like these once a year.

I am spanish(latin) and although I gotta say that all these festivals don't really represent the culture its best they do make a good impression and remind their own ppl that they are not alone in a foreign country, that somewhere there are tons of ppl that love their culture as much as they do themselves.............

I might be getting myself into trouble here and exposed to some flaming but it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.
Like I said before..i respect every religion, culture and life style of any human being. I enjoy learning from different cultures...some of you may not as much in these kind of situations but I do.....Soooo LET'S GO TO THE TASTE OF THE DANFORTH!!!! GREEK FOOD RULES!!!!

I went last night with my girlfriend, and the sight was horrid.
It was nothing but hoards and hoards of teenage ******s groapng their 12 year old girlfriends in every dark corner they could find. The streets were filthy as were the people. Kappa clothing was celebrated to the max, appeared that everyone shopped at AC Soccer on Dixie. The scents from all the different foods mixed into one that resembled that of a rotting buffalo carcus.
All in all. It was a big thumbs down, in my view at least.

SOOooooooooo DJ Kufew tells me 2 nights ago that "he can't make it to Edgar V cuz he has work early on Sat.." and THEN we find him at Systems with Tara, Matt, and Tara's SIS ... hrrrrrrmmzzzz.......

i hate to admit but it's true about the 12year old chicks in every corner.

i've always been around greek friends.. i grew used to how it is. Besides, i'm medetaranian, my culture isn't too far off from them greeks ( minus the 12 year olds.. egyptian got GOOD taste when it comes to ladies)

p.s. it's only the greek ginos with the 12 year old gfs.. some greeks are not ginos.

You're using your head to think too much. Studying in that room of yours all weekend has clouded your thinking. I got home at 3am after system as opposed to going to Edgar V and coming home at 7am. I'd rather do that then not do that considering I had work in the morning. Enough.
