I heard it today and and now its gonna be so played its not even funny......The last place i wanted to hear it was KTU 103.5!! Thats right today it was on.....so sad that sucks cause its such a great track!!!

yep, heard it a couple of times on KTU and was suprised.
also introduced my parents to Trance 
why is it so bad?
ATRC has become boring and cheesy. I'm not surprised it's being played on mainstream radio.
I stopped liking it (except Markus' remix) a long time ago.
Armin's remix was boring the first time I heard it.
I don't fucking understand "you" people though....
"You" complain there's no good music on the radio, and then when a song like ATRC is played on the radio, "you" say the song is now "cheesey."
Sandstorm was a great song when it came out. It's not Darude's fault it was raped to death....
The same goes for ATRC...

It doesn't feel "special" anymore.
But still its a good track.
My friend called me today to tell me she heard it on KTU.
I have mixed feelings. In one way it's good for the public to be interested to quality music like ATRC, but on the other hand now you have all the kids who listen to KTU thinking they are ultra cool caus' they got the newest "techno" song. People also seem to think songs only come out when they are played on the radio thus, this just came out this week man.
I feel once a song is played on the radio and is subsequently raped, it loses that special feeling of being sorta underground and magical.
Never was a great song, than KTU Raped that too

I suppose we will always have the non played remixes like Markus and the Armin mix

That track was played out 6 months ago. I never even heard the Armin remix, or wanted to. Armin is overrated... too much exposure like G&D now.
its because KTU is a fucking poppy sensation radio station.. there IS NO decent radio stations in NYC.. so whatever dencent EDM that makes it in the rotation of NY radio means its being played betweeen Dizzy Spears, NStink & 98 Disiease, which isnt a good thing.. at least for me.. on the flip side, u can look at it this way.. someone that heard ATRC on the radio can go clubbing and hear it there as well, very much like the song, and become a G&D fan and start buying G&D's material.. which is a + for the scene right ? hmmmmmmm... so is it a good thing or a bad thing ? bad for me, cuz i dont like to see decent EDM getting mixed in with pop but good for ppl that have no idea that might* get an idea soon...
The only reason why I dont like when decent song like this get played on the radio is because it never comes of for 2-3 months straight. I got a better situation that Sandstorm, does everyone remember Zombie Nation? Im sure you do because the song got played by Z100 and KTU atleast 10-15 times per day, per radio station. Talk about a severe beating. There is always pro's and con's to stuff like this, but its terrible to see a good song go out like this - it's torture.
If any of you are on Clubplanet and saw the post by the KTU crew... You know how despicable they are... Damn them for playing good music...

ever listen to 92.7.. its a bit cheezy also, but it also gets some tunes out there..

KTU is a joke....it is for Jersey gino's and bridge and tunnel floozies that swear they know good "trance" listing to Benny Benassi - Satisfaction while pondering on the good ol' days of Sandstorm and Castles in the Sky...
I actually turned on KTU after reading this post and heard Duncan Sheik - I'm on a High also...
Then they paused to go to Temptations club in Jersey...the person whow as there was screaming on the radio "aaaaaaaappppaaaaa", you know like in that old school song "Boriqua Posse" that was around in 1991...after hearing him do that then go into calling people "Papi" and "Mami" i almost ripped my radio out of my car....utter ghetto cheese white Jersey trassssshhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
KTU needs to stick with their regular vocal cheese and high pitvhed synth tracks and stay the F*CK outta our music...they give us a bad name...after listeing for short time that i did, i know why some people say trance music is gay and cheesey...i mean the only thing they are exposed to is that Gino Jersey crap....and NO i do not want good trance to be played on KTU...let the morons and Sandstorming listeners stick with Zombie Nation....freaken toools that they are.
i heard this set last nite.... bugged me out, what killed it is, they played that rap/r&b song, the one they sing "uh oh" repeatedly... right after

I am still surprised they never played these tunes but play Roc Project....wonder why these tunes never made it on KTU

It is interesting that I think we would all like to see Trance picked up as more mainstream, at least in the sense that the more people and talent devoted to it, the better it would be. On the other hand when KTU picks up a song, it gets overplayed. So now we instinctivly react badly to anything that is soooo good that it might appeal to a broader audience.
What NYC needs is the equivalent of RadioAlice in san fran. I like 92.7 but I can't pick it up where I live because their signal has less power than a hairdrier.

or don't you want other people, that never heard good songs before ,like it
don't you new people that like trance, it's a bit egoistic to keep all those tunes to yourself and don't give other people a chance
