PVD @Central Park Questions

ok dont know if this is anywhere, and i've been a little absent lately from the boards, so don't mind me.

anyway. what do u think Summerstages policy on cameras and say tape recorders? I wanna take lotsa pics, and I don't know if they will consider this as a concert as concert halls don't allow pics. I kinda feel it should be kool to bring a camera inside...

tape recorder? i'm thinkin of recording his set in central park, convert that ish into mp3 and give europe a taste of PVD in Central Park. =) mebbe a minidisc recorder won't be too obvious..

I'm sure that a camera would be fine, since it is considered a concert. I'm bring a disposable just in case I can'y have one in.

As for a recorder, it probably wouldn't be worth it since the recording would be horrible. Unless you can get it straight from the system, doing a live recording would come out in a pretty poor quality.

But you could try and see how it comes, besides, you would be the only person that has a recording of the night.

I thought I read on the summerstage website that cameras and recorders weren't allowed (not that I'm discouraging it, it fact, please do for everyone's sake. ) but I might bring my friend's minidisk player to record it too, he wants me to. besides, think PvD would mind if we hooked a recordin device to the system?

Please respect the rules of the City of New York Department of Parks & Recreation at Central Park SummerStage. Please do not bring alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, chairs of any kind, pets, bicycles, rollerblades, video cameras, tape recorders, or flash cameras to Central Park SummerStage. All bags will be searched. Small bags and backpacks (17" x 12" x 10") only and absolutely no coolers permitted.

should i even risk bringing the camera? and there goes my plans of bringing a lawn chair.
