John Digweed's MMII

I know this has probably been asked several times by now, but what was the meaning of this title? Is it supposed to be mmii or mm2?

the title's written using Roman numerals, it's "MMII" (or "mmii").

it stands for 2002 (M = 1000, I = 1)
