Cutting and using mp3 files.

Hey guys, I found this sound on a Classical cd that I would like to use and loop. How would I cut the certain piece of this mp3 file and then use it in Reason?

With Cool Edit 2.0

Slice it up the way u want and save it as WAV.

Whats the sound? If I can use it I'll loop it for you... It will be a wav when I'm done though, not an mp3.

What program are you using to create your loops?

I use cool edit. All I do is take the sample and double it up, so that as the first copy is ending it fades out while the second instance of it fades in, in such a way that you can't tell its been doubled. Then just by that alone you have perfect loop points, seeing as how you have 2 copies of the same sample.
