c-span, pbs (they broadcast bbc news early in the morning), bbc, freespeech tv (only on Dish network) are the only good channels for news. the san francisco bay area also has KGO

I've often blasted Orielly and the rest of fox news for being horibly biased towards the right, but recently orielly has spoken out against bush, not as much as cnn mind you, but he hasnt been so rediculous about it either.

Haha so true! All his ever does is invite people onto his show so he can bash them. One time I watched he was discussing some prom down in the South where they didn't invite any black people. He brought the main adult organizer onto the show, who justified that it was a private party, and O'Reilly was dissing him here and there, calling him an S.O.B. etc. Great entertainment

When I feel like getting riled up about Politics I watch FoxNews. They bring on the BIGGEST idiots who have 0 credentials, talking about issues to which they have no understanding. My biggest beef with O'Reilly is that he continuously says that he is a centrist, when it is so obvious he isn't. He is so conservative it makes me sick.

The reality is that FoxNews is directed at a less informed American population, it also doesn't help that the owner of the station is Rupert Murdock, who is my opinion is the most detestable human-being in British/American media.

Okay it wasnt really making things up but they where taking unconfirmed reports and throwing them out there as definate facts.

They start talking to people on the street and taking what they say as dead on facts. does he work for the power company? is he an electrical engineer? shit is he even an electrician? who knows.

ummmm no... they were very clear that the reports were unconfirmed, I was watching from 4:20ish to 7:30... not once did they try to report anything false as absolute truths...

That or he is a manipulative business-man that knows how to make a buck. What because he says "oh its the viewers that make, I can only what they want me to do" means he is truthful. I read the same bullshit you read about that. Its listed in one of my fav. books "The Silent Takeover"... guess what he controls 90% of the media in England and substantial share in the Northeast US. So say what you will, I think he sucks...
