Coldplay - The Scientist Music Video

Wow this video is just amazing. It's sad but yet very well produced and very beautiful. It would be nice to hear a good trance remix to this song....

i agree. i first saw the video when i was in mexico.. it really stood out in my mind afterwards so i downloaded the song. I would really like to see this video again.

coldplay is an awesome group IMO

a lot of bands nowadays all seem to play the same kinds of music... Coldplay and Our Lady Peace are one of the few bands that I respect deeply because they aren't pumping out all the same types of commercial crap

There is always something compelling about clips which choose a different option. Not only do they stand out but it just shows how it can add a different dimension to a track.
Having the "backward or rewind effect" is always a good idea, not seen alot... only one i can really think of is R Kelly- If i could turn back the hands of time

Also coldplay rock my jocks

a really well produced video. the way it is put together adds to the effect...its a beautiful price of film...really suited the song...

I prefer the video to God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, but this one is pretty cool

Great video. It would be really hard to learn to lipsync backwards.
Coldplay is just about the only pop group/artist that I can stand. They actually do good stuff. Clocks, The Scientist, even Yellow isn't THAT bad.

Sorry to be the one who gave this thread CPR...

The original of this song easily beats anything I've ever heard on the radio in the last 2 years. Props to coldplay

That song is fantastic. Was definitely one of the standout song when I saw them live.

Seems to be the right tempo to make a remix from too. Interesting...

all the copies of the video i downloaded skip a bit in the middle when he's under the bridge

other than that, i totally love both the video and the song

Coldplay kick ass! Every song on A Rush of Blood To The Head is good.

Posted by mezzir on Feb-22-2004 07:24:

as a bit of discussion, how did they go about making this?
the thing that made the most sense to me (an amateur low budget filmmaker ) is that you'd reverse the audio then practice lip synching to that
but still, he does it so well, idk

Arrow There's a mix

I have Ultra Trance:3 and on there is the club mix to coldplays "clocks" or "clokx." I think it's ok. but uh if you're a tranceaddict in training you might really like it.

I don't think there is an EDM remix which could compete with the original... Why mess with a masterpiece when you can't make it better?

have you heard coldfunk?
by far the best remix of clocks out there, and yes its good that he made it
its one of those remixes thats different enough that you can treat it as a different song than the original and don't have to hate it just cause they 'ruined the song'

Posted by meneedit on Feb-23-2004 00:59:

yes, yes, very good song and video clip

but tell me if you just stacked your car and your GF died why would you start walking through the town singing only to collapse on a matress.

LOL! just kidding.

most kick-ass song ever.
