Darren Tate vs Jono Grant - Nocturnal Creatures

Received my promo in today. Contains the ORIGINAL MIX and the JONO REMIX. I prefer the Original mix, and it was also featured on ASOT by Armin van Buuren. The promo's are out on Mondo records.

One of the top tunes of the year

Yikes...

I was *really* looking forward to this one after hearing the radio rip that was doing the rounds. I was looking forward to those fantastic tribal drums and the vocal samples which created an amazing "world" feel. But... where the hell are they?

The version(s) I've just had played to me are bog-standard uplifting trance of the we-'ve-heard-this-all-before variety, and one had a kick so meaninglessly damp I felt like screaming.

Someone, please tell me that fantastic mix I heard is available, somewhere...

Unfortunately even that is sadly lacking any punch. Should work OK on a big system though. Lovely tune

J00F did play Blue Amazon - No Other Love (Darren Tate) and that is a choon too

the jono grant remix is PURE TUNEAGE!!!!!!!!

one of the best trance tunes in a long while, its pure mind blowing, can see this being one of the best in 2003

now i just need to get the original mix
