power outage?

Connecticut, NYC, detroit, toronto, ottawa and other places around the country jsut lost power.

they dont know why.

isnt the TA server in toronto? guess it got spared....

according to cnn.com, a transformer caught fire in nyc. i know this isn't very helpful, but it was all i could find. did anyone else notice that the ta website was incredibly slow right around 4 p.m.?

natural occurrence ... it makes sense the northeast would lose power in the US and Canada if the Niagra power plant shut down.

it could be the effect of a solar flare, they have been known to affect power grids in the past, not on this level though

your from ny aren't you? your on the forums. is the power out in different sectors or is it coming off and on and such?

according to the major news sources it was just an overload of the powergrid starting at niagra falls. they don't know when the power will be back on.
