Next Track Resevation Storing hundreds of your favorite mp3's on one disc is great. But what if you want play other files from the same disc back to back? Well, with our world's first Next Track Reserve function, you can search for a song by name and segue seamlessly to that file for a smooth mix. *Also available for CD audio discs as well.
CD TEXT support (with scrolling display for long names)
Clear Scratch Disc Create your own unique custom slip mat designs on regular paper using your PC and printer, then place them under your clear scratch disc.
7� Vinyl Disc adapter This original design grants you the freedom to install your favorite 7" vinyl record on top of our platter for that ultimate analog turntable feel.
Platter Effects Drag-Start, Brake & Dump/Reverse effects can be used for MP3 or CD audio discs.
Memo Link System The internal memory of two independent machines can be linked together in order to conveniently recall your stored Loops and Cue points from either drive.
X-Effect: The DN-S3000 is compatible with the DN-X800 X-Effect system.
Relay Play Relay Play is possible between two DN-S3000's when they are connected together.
Digital Outputs Constant Digital Output at 44.1 kHz is present when using all functions.

Recessed Connecting Terminals For a smooth clean fit into flight cases, the rear terminals have been conveniently recessed on the back panel.
Seamless Loop: One seamless loop is available. (CD or MP3)
Hot Start One Hot Start can be made on the fly and used as a stutter point as well. (CD or MP3)
A-B Trim/Move The A and B points for the seamless loop and sampler loop can be easily adjusted on-thefly using the Scratch Disc.
Sampler (16-bit, 44.1 kHz quality) Approx. 15 sec. can be recorded to internal memory. You can overlap the sample source with your CD or even scratch the sample while the CD is playing. Looping, Pitch, sampler volume and reverse play is also available.
Power On Play Unattended playback is possible upon power up. Great for restaurants, bars and nightclubs at opening time.
Memo function Cue point, Playback Pitch, Pitch Range, Pitch ON/OFF, Key Adj ON/OFF, and Seamless Loop A and B data can be stored. This data can also be copied to another DNS3000/ S5000. MEMO from a DN-D9000 or DN-2600F can also be copied to a DN-S3000.

sweet... quite the nicely featured CD-player.
But I'm waiting for the CDJ-player market to expand a bit more. such products as this one and the Numark TX1 CD-turntable emulation deck are making me wait for price drops and technology advancements.
and yea I'm also waiting for e-mails.... ahem*.... *cough cough*.... DJ Tranz!!* *cough cough... *ahem!

yea this is nothing special really...
all the s3000 is an s5000 minus the alpha track basically
the full support mp3 plugin for the s5000 will be released on the 26th i think

You can find the S3000 and the S5000 for the same price.
S5000 on ebay goes for around $650-$700.. there is a seller (I believe it is topfetch.com) that sells the Denon S5000 for $699 free shipping)
