TA party @ WMC04
One night next year, we need to have a TA night. And I dont just mean all of us going to a club one night. An actual night. TA Djs, be it Florida locals, TAs from overseas, who are @ the conference. General trance DJs(I dunno, armin, ferry, Dave Dresden, Shane, Koris, etc)
There are enough Djs that we could put a night together, I dont know rooms, but I bet a small ish party, say 600 person room, maybe a side room @ level some night.
With the connections that you in the miami area have (arturo, global girl) I bet it could be put together quite easily.
I want it to happen.
but I bet you need to look for a venue fairly soon...maybe im wrong. But talk to managers of clubs etc who know stuff, and might be willing to help out.
If you need a hand drumming up support, or cash, *help making cash to finance the night* I will do what I can, and what it takes to help make this happen
Im sure im not the only one who thinks this should happen, what about everybody else?

you guys tell me when, where, and what i need to do to help make this happen. i'm all over this idea.
Dunno how possible this is, but I think we should have the big TAs headline it. I know Edgar is a TA, rumors are that Armin is too. How sweet would that be? A private party with Edgar and Armin and the rest of the TAs?
We have a year, alot of DJs working on this, and a whole lot of connections to a whole lot of people. This should so go down bigtime.
I'm willing to offer suggestions/help/whatever is needed!

Underage would mean it would have to be a pool party or in a hotel ballroom. They only IDed @ the bar.
I dont see a need to make it private. Have it be the Tranceaddict.com WMC 04 party. Charge cover, have flyers. Maybe hook up w/ DAMN Djs (who had a room @ Level for a night last year) and throw a joint party.
DAMN/TA party(seems even better when you looks @ the list of ppl DAMN represents)
Lineup is irrelevant. W/ the amount of DJs in the area, we could find a bunch. A room, soundsystem are our first worries, once that is figured out, depending on the size of the room, we fill in DJ slots. Then flyers and promo work starts.
If it is underage, see if we can rent out, or just use the pool @ The Creek. Its the hostel I stayed @ last year, and is the cheapest place to drink in SOBE from what I could tell.($5 a drink) I think the contact info is still under www.bananabungalow.com on the internet.

I think it would be cool to give lesser-known DJ's the chance to spin here. The big boys seem to get plenty of opportunities to play anyways.
I'm sure there are many here on TA who rock.

if we're talking about a small/medium private party by a pool, my sound system is pretty big, and i am more than willing to donate it for the night, along with my gear (yeah grand masters).
and of course, i will never turn down an opportunity to play. whitesmoke and i spin together all the time, and i know he's down.
i know not too many people know me, but if you want to take me up on the offer, just pm me or whitesmoke.
either way, i'll be there, i think this is a great idea to get all the TA's together and party.
p.s. of course i'd give up my position to spin in order to hear, let's say... Markus?? Edgar?? Armin?? all three??!!!!
...i'd probably give up all more than that, too

Armin is already playing a party in Miami 2004 as is Ferry, but I'm sure we can get djs to play it. Thats not even the hard part, the hardest part is getting the venue...Anyone can play the pool at the Clevelander, but lets get a night at a club

and isnt shane registered?
yes venue is the first hurdle, club would be preferred, but honestly, we wont get Space or opium or main room @ level, or anything of that calibre(I bet). And having it in a club cuts off the under 21 crowd. Where as pool party might not(I dont know the laws, somebody else might)
it depends on which direction we want to take.

I am more than certain us Miami Peeps can make this happen..
In the next couple of months, when possible dates start being announced, all we need to do is start talking around to find a prospective venue... I am sure the talent wont be a problem... good gooood ideas.. more brainstorming on the way...

im sooooo down to help in anyway possible... like even pass out flyers. but i would prefer if the venue took place on the beach like this little party 93.1 ultra fest was supposed to happen.. the beach idea was so awesome.. and i nominate local DJ CleRo to play
if the beach is a no-go, im sure someone has to have some kind of pull at a big club or a place large enough...
good to start thinking/planning this now...i'll talk to my friends who might have hookups and i'll look into other ideas as well...would be a good time. i also agree about having the bigger DJ's not spin...i'd rather enjoy the music and have a drink WITH them, instead of watching them as usual.
The dates for the WMC are usually announced the end of November/Early December so until then we can't really move on anything...Once the dates are established I will be up for any ideas you guys have
