Chicane - Saltwater (Hardtrance bootleg)

Heard this on friday at a houseparty, tis a choooon!!

Bassline has a wonderfuly driving and rolling feel, and I was pleasantly surprised when the track kicked in fully as it wasn't at all shit (like so many bootlegs these days are)

I cant remember the track name, but i think it said 'E-Type' on the record

Yeah it's pretty shitty, but not too bad. Only reason it's halfway decent is because it's a bootleg of an incredible track.

i was thinking the same thing that everyone else was...saltwater would not sound good as a hard trance song.

Fair play, I just saying that thinking a track wouldn't sound nice in a specific and hearing said track and not liking it are two different things. I dont expect many to like it, especially purists or those not into harder edged trance, but as booties go I think this one is competent

I, mean sure alot ppl seem to hate bootlegs with a passion, but whatever happened to 'dont knock it til you've tried it'?

If ppl never tried things because they thought they wouldnt like it, would ppl ever find anything new out?

You prolly wont like it, prolly dont like hard trance, prolly a host of other things, but I still think you should at least hear it before you slate it.

And me saying these things now makes it seem like I think very highly of this track, and I dont, I do think it is nice however, and I'll be buying it.

Yea, this is pretty good - a real good version of the original even if it does feel a bit cheesy. Theres samples of it in the Tidy Trax store if u wanna give it a listen ( www.tidy.com/store ).

This is available now at juno.co.uk btw.sounds pretty good from the samples and as i am partial to the odd cheeky bootleg i purchased it.
