normal songs remixed to banging tunes...

hi there

don't know what it is, but lately i hear a lot of 'normal' tracks that have been remixed and turn out to be really good. To name a few:

Nirvana vs. Adam Freeland - Smells like teen spirit
Sylver - Why worry (Dj Montana rmx)
Natalie Imbruglia - Beauty on the fire (Jxl rmx)
Jewel - Intuition (Markus Schulz coldharbour rmx)
Ian Brown - Fear (UNKLE rmx)
J.lo - I'm glad (Who da Funk rmx)
Bjork - Pagan Poetry(Infusion Mix)
Avril Lavigne - I'm with you (Leama & Moor rmx)
and so on!

First of all, is this a way to make up the loss of non-inspiration by a lot of producers? Or is it just always there, but now more in the picture?
And second, please write down the ones u find very good!

how is that remix better than the classic original which was released back in 1991...that song is one of the top 10 most greatest songs of the 90s...it made Nirvana the legendary band they were

i heard a remix of "rolling stones - paint it black" on id-t radio. it was played bij marcel woods in a 2 hour mix. it was really good imo. the whole set btw

hrmmmm.. i dont think its necessarily a new trend. remixes of pop tunes have been around just that theres more selection of remixes than just house mixes

yeh but it was for normal tracks, not pop tracks. I think it was intended to be a thread about electronic tracks that were original shit, and then remixed to become good.
