i actually perfer the acid myself, that and black pyramid
one of my friends performed in this musical...i liked it
well most music is made or converted to data electronically... thus making it "electronic" music as apposed to magnetic music like tapes and vinyl. therefore Jesus Christ Superstar is within the boundries of the music forum, as long as we are talking about an "electronic" viewing or recording.....

I saw Phantom of the Opera at Broadway when I went to New Work back in 1996. I've also seen Nutcracker at the Sydney Opera House.
Evita kicks majorly. It's my favorite of his work because of the maturity that manages to come across in musical form. Glosses over much of the actual history of Eva Peron, but still presents a moving historical story.
Cats is whimsical and innane, but fun all the same.
Never saw Phantom. Never liked Jesus Christ Superstar at all; too much of a "typical" musical to me.
In fact, Webber is as far as I go in terms of musicals. Most of the rest make me vomit with their total disconnect from reality and trite use of dance numbers. Blech! Cats is the only exception because it revels in its total fantasy rather than mixing it with reality, plus it's based off of the poetry of T.S. Eliot, lending some artistic merit.

ive seen these on Broadway:
*Phantom Of The Opera (2x)
*Les Miserable (2x)
*Crazy For You
*Cats
*Guys & Dolls
*Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat
personally, i have a soft spot for Phantom but as a kid, i liked Joseph for its purely entertiament value. and well Les Mis, i disliked it when i was younger cuz it was just such a heavy complex story and LONG but as i got older, i have more appreciation for the plot/moral and such.
ive always liked musicals... hehhe

If it's really that much of an annoyance, just ask that the thread be moved to the Chillout Room. That's all. No need to get all pissy and irritated on both sides. It's not that big of a deal.
who could forget Les Miserables...the whole world ended up loving it and I couldnt stand it!
I also liked Sweet Charity
i didnt get annoyed, i was havign a joke in my first post until all the kids get offended cos i said fuck off. now im defending a point which i had no intention of making in the first place.
p.s. no-one's mentioned any of the piece's of MUSIC in this DISCUSSION about the musical.
the above is a tongue in cheek joke (i.e. a little dig, "i am not really mad" type of joke, like the first post)
