Invisible Grin Interesting product for home recording

Has anyone seen or tried this out? From the review and the concept it sounds like something which might be very very useful.

Thoughts?

For the price, you'd almost be better off saving up for a pro-sumer sound card.. (or something that doesn't record like shit).
Other thing is, that usb devices like that generally take up some cpu power, how much I do not know.

i would say it dose sound like a very promosing product... but i dont know if I would buy it...

But if you have $160 dollars burning a hole in your pocket and your computer has the RAM to support it i dont see why you shouldnt give it a try

USB interfaces (unless USB 2.0) are very limited in bandwidth. where as a soundcard is straight into the motherboard. i would just get a really high quality soundcard, ex. SB audigy 2 platinum, and just use the RCA jacks on the drive. i also use this card as my midi input, and have no problems with it. i know some people dont like sound blasters but mine works fine.

Keep in mind that that's $160 AUD (Aussie Dollars) .. Works out at about $100 US ...

ah, didnt notice that, cuz that Sound Blaster is like $200 US, so maybe that is a pretty good deal, if anyone has it id like to know what they think of it.
