I emailed the Airheadz after i bought the test pressing of "stanleys in a trance" cos their aol e-mail adddress was on the label.Anyway i just thought i'd tell them that i liked the track and they'd done a good job, whatever, and one of them replied the next day. So we e-mailed each other a few times, and then one day i got a form to fill to join the record label mailing list(free records baby) they are on/own. So there's my little story.
Anyways peace
Most Dj's have a very busy life.. so they haven't got time to answer you mail. Dj's like Armin van Buuren (@ his mailinglist), Marco V (guestbook), Rank 1 (forum), DJ JamX will sometimes answer on your question.. sometimes not.
hehe...I emailed mauro picotto.....and I got a response....!!!! It was asking him if he is coming to Toronto.....
The whole extent of the reply was....
01 july GUVERNEMENT Toronto
CIAO
Mauro Picotto
So that's it....LoL
i got several emails from Jurgen Leyers (E.N.E.R.G.Y.). and i spoke to L-Vee (Airwave). they both helped me complete this list: http://home.wanadoo.nl/bob.nickson/Airwave.txt (needs a serious update).
Robert
Hey my friend showed me his emailz from paul van dyk and Kerncraft 200. And he got both of the replies in less than 2 days. Wanna know the trick? just ask him "hey can i have ur turntables" or something like that. Be creative.

pvd email
Yo TimeWarp personally i dont know PVD's email..but my friend said he went to pvd's website and somehow got it. He got kerncraft, tiesto and other dj's emailz too. i guess u just go to their official sitez and get their email addy. If u have any q's i guess u can email my friend. [email protected]
Automatized replies
Lol, a few of you have mentioned getting short replies, lol those must be helpers/people who run their sites. ie I wrote to PvD asking if he was going to be in South America in the forseeable future, and got a reply but that is just someone writing for them. Imagine the amount of emails PvD has, you think he has time to read them unless you somehow get their attention. Most responses are probably an almost standard/automatic predetermined response. Maybe I'll try emailing a lesser known DJ some day, you might get a real reply from one of the them.
Sick stuff guys... hmm... i think im gonna e-mail every DJ that i can find an Address too... dont think im that lucky to get what u guys got but anyways... ill try! thanx heaps!
I talked to Janos who runs the PVD website. I asked about the unreleased track (#6) off of his casino set. I wanted to know if it would ever see the light of say. He contacted PVD, who said it might be on his next album but, hasn't decided on a song title as of yet.
Hehe, you people sound like pre-teen girls drooling over their favourite boyband ...
Sky warp...who says were not?
as for my replies. I got one back from DJ Nemesis. Hes not big, but I love alpha one. And yes it is the same DJ Nemesis that is a member here. I asked him if he was interested in coming to Calgary, and he says yes. Hopefully the promoter has written him since I wrote them too....
lol, i emailed DJ Spyhunter (so it's no one huge).. telling him that i thought his track "40-Love" sucked compared to his other productions, and he's like "yea sorry about that, i've had a few requests from some friends of mine who are chicks wanting softer tracks, so i'll try to make some harder tracks later on, thanks for ya feedback" yadiyadiyada... pretty cool guy, i like his style =)
This is the best thread made in a while.
"yea sorry about that, i've had a few requests from some friends of mine who are chicks wanting softer tracks, so i'll try to make some harder tracks later on, thanks for ya feedback" yadiyadiyada...
hahahaha man that's hilarious, if someone told me my tracks sucked (and i really thought they didnt, or the person didnt explain why) id probably just say "DIY, chump"
I recieved a mail of Dirk Dierickx(MIKE),and in the same mail there wasa response of YDR too,and also received a mail coming from Jan vervloet(man behind fiocco, scoop)
I've received emails from Max Graham, Plastic Angel, D&A, Accuface, Quicksilver, Above and Beyond.......
Well like everyone said the biggest DJ's have no time.
Twice i have received a mail from a dutch DJ (dutch ppl know them, others maybe not)
1. from DJ Jose (end november 2000) I heard him play a song on a liveset, asked him what song it was. And it was BARTHEZZ, at that moment i was totally crazy about that song.
2. a week ago i got a mail from the House Negro, also because of a unknown track. That track kicks ass, he says its a promo, but he didnt't give me the name, so i am waiting for another mail
You dont have to trie to mail the big names, the change that you receive an answer is 1%. O ja, also received an e-mail of Barthezz, a few months ago
Latuurrzzz...
Haven't emailed any questions to any DJs, but I'll be asking questions directly to PvD on Friday, when I interview him in South Africa, have a look at:

if you want to ask him a question.
