Do you protect your ears ?
I want to know if you guys protect your ears at Raves, Parties or in any area of L_O_U_D music.
Do you have experiance with things like Tinnitus or hearing losses ?
Not really
But I know what the limits are
What's tinnitus? Is it that "bleeeeep" you have after you come back from a party? If so, I feel it sometimes (not too often though).
And no, no hearing losses whatsoever (checked last month)
I just wanna know how are we supposed to protect our ears
You can buy earplugs that are designed to fit comfortably and protect your ears while out clubbing etc, but still let you hear the music well, they just dampen dangerous frequencies
I don't protect my ears, it's something to consider though for when I go clubbing more regularly
never
although sometimes i get annoyed if i can't understand what somebody shouts to me..
Never, if it gets too loud I'll just move away.
But it's never TOO loud
Whaaa???? Did you say something?
I do if things get too loud/hard. Has only occured twice for a long time now tho:when DJ Loop played b2b with Lee Haslam end July in Oslo (150 BPM hard house with insane acoustics), and at Mankind Recs.-party in Sweden (Marko Nastic and Marco Bailey playing relentless pounding techno that rocketed back and forth through the room).
never! i would like to no where i can get some cheap but effective plugs tho coz recently when ive been listening to music in my headphones it starts to really hurt sometimes.
ipod/mdrv700! perfect combination to fuck my ears up lol!
so hmm never! lol
YEPP, protection is good.. you gonne need your ears the rest of your lifes..

lol...
guys... did you ever try to lower the volume of your player/headphone combination ?
you sound like a bit destitute about your situation
I personally think it's more dangerous listening to head/earphones too loud...but i dunno whether this is scientifically correct or not :S

i normally wear earplugs to clubs..i value my ears.
I always get a loud ringing when im in quiet places...but it always goes away after a few days....
Never... i regret it later tho, my ears sometimes buzz for 2 - 3 days afterwards.
I never do ... But i learned my leson after falling asleep in a sub at a party one time. i was leaning on the front of it, and fell asleep ... ( DJ Sucked ) ... and when i woke up, i couldn't really hear anything when i left the party. so, if i plan on sleeping in a sub ever again, i guess i would use protection
