This will only work in IE. And as soon as you hit another site with a favicon.ico file, it'll get overwritten. And it only appears in bookmarks. And it HAS to be called favicon.ico...

basically its a waste of space.

i know, but i use it as a pratice site for a few different things that will be usefull to me further on down the line
