If you had to design a new DJ booth for a club, what equipment would yo put in. I would put...

1 Stanton VRM-10 Mixer
3 Technics Mk5g's
2 Pioneer CDJ-1000 CD decks
6 Ortofon Concorde Catridges.

Yeah the V6 is an awesume mixer.. love to use it.

I would have exactly the same setup i use at work in my club most nites..

1-2x1200/1210 mk2s
2-1 denon 2400f twin cd player
3-Cloud CXm11 Mixing console (click to see pic)
4- Ortofon Dj 'S' or Nightclub 'S' concorde carts

Ive used this for a long while with no problems bar usual wear and tear- so why change it?

2x Technics SL1210 Mk5G .. for mixing
2x Numark TTX ... for scratching/ extra mixing
1x Rane MM 8z DJ mixer
2x effex panels <- don't know much about em
2x Denon S3000 MP3/CD player
1x Pioneer HDJ-1000
4x Ortofon S concorde carts

1 Rane MP 2016 Rotary Mixer
1 Rane XP Expander
3 Numark TTX decks
3 Ortofon Nightclub Carts
1 Denon DN 2600F or DN 9000 CD deck
1 Denon S3000 CD deck
1 Pioneer EFX 500 effect unit
1 Mini Refrigerator
1 Cute Girl working the lights
1 Set of Nice Monitors
Close to the pisser
Room for your all of records and cds
Set kinda high up so you can see all of the people dancing

That Stanton mixer is fkin beautiful
I'd hav that equipment, plus a fridge to keep drinks cold, and maybe a close by toilet

That's exactly what I want once I get the money for it. I just ordered some HDJ-1000 headphones and hope to have the money for the mixer and the turntables next Summer. Remember I'm a student so it's going to take a while for me to get the money together. =)

I'd go with a lot of what I already have
2 technics MKII's...I guess I'd upgrade to the 5's

Mixer...hmmm, I guess the A&H 6 channel would be cool

Id put a massive pub keg full of vodka and a cd player because i would probablys be too drunk to spin

i would have 16 technics 1200s all around me in a circle, and the only way i could get it is by a crane dropping me in the center. that would be an amazing opening!

All this sounds good, plus an Apple Powerbook with Final Scratch

Well,

First of all... The V6 Rotary is a beautiful mixer with amazing sound. But it doesn't work well the stuff I do.

Mixer - Allen & Heath Xone 464 6 (It's what I have at home) or the Pioneer DJM600 (Awesome mixer)
Decks - Technics 1200/1210s MkII x 2
CDs - Pioneer CDJ1000 Mk2 or Denon DNS 5000
A good monitor system.
The 12pm to 2am slot and a 800 capacity club rammed full with mad up for it clubbers.

The cute girl etc will take care of itself...
