This is hella lame... I heard about the possibility but I thought it was far-fetched. This totally sucks ass...

Posted by Wheel of Steel on Aug-22-2003 04:08:

Yeah looks like they are up tot the same old shit. Shitty djs and a bunch of little kids on drugs, that aren't really inot the music. Some of the dj's are good, but not many. OH and space girl fakes it, she doesn't actually play live....won't regret missing this one

Posted by Zack Roth on Aug-22-2003 04:10:

That lineup is amazing. I'd personally rather have an event like that indoors in a big club, as opposed to shitty weather outside.

Posted by crchingtiger on Aug-22-2003 04:25:

Looks good...doesn't have a lot of BIG headliners...but still, I DEFINITELY, hands down, appreciate their music just as much...
C'mon!
Dj Dan, Christopher Lawrence, Liquid Todd, Scott Henry, Paul Johnson, Charles Feelgood, Frankie Bones, Dj Pauly.....
They'll keep it goin'...music to enjoy and dance up a storm to.
I saw Feelgood, DjDb and Pauly not even a month ago...they were mixing some pretty hard stuff - kept the crowd goin'...good stuff
and I'm just as excited to hear the rest of the line up.

Yes I am very disapointed too... =/

Yea Space Girl uses straight up DAT

I don't know, I wasn't expecting that much, but I sure was expecting more then this...Especialy since this is the last Boo Party and they even said themselfs that "They were going out in style" ..... Guess not

They are going out of style because they book the same ppl. I think most if not all of those dj's were at the last one. Variety would be nice... i think... ?

Posted by Freeza on Aug-22-2003 04:47:

Yes peoples complants have been heard on there message boards, but they still end up booking the sameeee old people....This lineup doens't even compare to the last 2 Boo's and this is saposed to be the final one I was expecting a awesome venue with some great DJ's and at least a couple different headliners...Oh well - nothing can be done now haha

Just thank god there's no dress code

Posted by NYGblue on Aug-22-2003 04:56:

I can easily say I will NOT be at this event... Especially since it would require travelling from DC...

Posted by Wheel of Steel on Aug-22-2003 05:55:

yeah the only dj's worth seeing ar christopher lawrence and dj dan, and maybe donald glaude the rest are overated..... I made the mistake of going to 1 nation 2 years ago....only later the next day did i hear danny howells played astormer at vinyl....if they booked a good dj from the uk it would be a lot better but they don't care and cater to a different audience..

Posted by Mysteriousss on Aug-22-2003 12:14:

Webster Hall??????? Are you kidding me?????????? I'd so much rather go to Randalls Island... Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuughhhhh..

Christopher Lawrence

And noone else likes Frankie Bones + Adam X???? I F*CKIN LOVE THOSE 2..... Damn, I might have to go to this one LOL..

Oh damn, this is when PVD is in DC................ Hmmm.. Frankie and Adam might just win LOL..

Posted by crchingtiger on Aug-22-2003 13:29:

I'm a fan of Frankie and Adam X...
Frankie played at a bar at my school a few years ago

Posted by slyfox 1 on Aug-22-2003 13:58:

The last Boo @Randall's Island rocked, but the weather didn't. Wish there was a better lineup for this one.

Posted by dj tek on Aug-22-2003 14:02:

I went to Boo 6... which happened to be on my b-day.. 4-20-02 @ Randall's Island.. the line up wasnt bad.. Tall Paul, Richie Hawtin, Donald Glaude, Max Graham and Mistress Barbara all ripped it.. i wanted this to be my final rave, and it was...

Boo 6 was the SHIT!!! We had soooo much fun. I skipped 7 because it was freezing and raining the whole damn day..

Boo 6 highlights - RICHIE HAWTIN!!!!!!!!!!! Mistress Barbara ROCKED that night, oh my, she was on fire!!!!!!! Christopher Lawrence delivered a very nice set also. Tall Paul blew, Max Graham was aiight...

I really wanted to go to Boo 7 to see Frankie+Adam and the Crystal Method... I really hope the Webster Hall thing is decent.. It'd be a shame if it sucks........

Posted by QuickStep on Aug-22-2003 15:14:

Yeah Boo 6 was insane!

Too bad I was so drunk that I only remember about an hour of the 8 hours that I was there.

Oh well, my friends told me I had a great time, and that counts right?

hahhaha. Not going to this though, mainly because I know that I've grown out of the rave scene. Also because I cannot stand the fact that 70% of the kids going could not dance. Not even a nice two step move, they freakin Stomp like they're tribal dancing or something. WTF?

/rant

Invisible Grin what....

OMG...you guys are talking about Boo 6....well, i am so old that i was at the first Boo and Boo 2.........imagine that

i stopped going to raves years ago...now i only will go to clubs for the music i was going to go to Boo 6 just because of who was there, but couldn't do it......i just didn't want to sit around with a bunch of drugged up 15 year olds who can't dance and never even heard of Tall Paul
but i heard it rocked

Posted by Lost Inhibition on Aug-24-2003 02:55:

hahahahahaha.....

nope this party will suck major ass...

BOOOOO for BOO 8

Posted by WanderingSteve on Aug-25-2003 17:26:

Man...Boo 6 was definitely awesome!
I got autographs from Misstress Barbara, Sandra Collins, and DJ Rap. What lovely ladies they are!! ^_~

Misstress Barbara definitely rocked! Of the 4 times I have seen her, I think she was the most enthusiastic at Boo6.

I also caught some of Reid Speed, Pleasurehead, Spacegirl, most of Christopher Lawrence, the tail end of Freaky Flow, and most of Micro.

Didn't make it to Boo7, but weather and lack of sleep were the primary factors.

I might still go to Boo8, though I am upset that the lineup is not as great as I thought the "final" Boo should be.

"...another one bites the dust"
