Bah FWCKNG Ford

Fact: I drive a 1991 Mercury Cougar

Story: SO i was leaving the job site today. I started backing up to go into somebodys driveway and turn around. As i am backing up, all of a sudden, the engine reves up and the car bolts backwards. I slammed on the brakes but the car kept going faster. So i made a split second decision, since i was on the hill and the stop sign was about 30 feet away. I put the car into Park and turn the igntion off. I hit the curb with both wheels to slow the car down. I stopped about 7 feet from the stop sign. I left 20 foot skidmark on the street, my rim is all fucked up from hittin the curb. There was some oil on the ground where i hit the curb, but nothing is leaking. I popped the hood, checked the engine and went back home. Nothing else happened. This happened to me before, but it was the mass air sensor letting the air go into the engine and making it rev up. Anyway, im just glad that i stopped in time and i didnt hit anything or anybody.

x-x1 = m(y-y1)

Thats the formula if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Actually no, it isn't. I'm stupid. A-level maths and I cant remember. Well thats how good the British education system is, haha.

Same shit happened on Sunday, going forward though and i had enough tiem to brake. I replaced the throtle body thinking that would help. NOPE. today when i was going to work, the ****** did the same thing, except this time the car wouldnt stop when i applied the brake....I put the car into N and turned it off. I stopped 2 feet from a stop sign on a busy street....
