Veracocha - Carte Blanche [Technikal Remix]

Controversially I decided to tackle this monster ... in some peoples eyes one of the best trance records ever released ... Carte Blanche. Ive taken it a much rougher and tougher route than the other 3 remixes of the track, in a Tidy hard trance style ... and I hope you think Ive done it justice!

Sounds nice and very powerful! I particularly like the heavy pads during the break. The lead is nice as well, though perhaps a bit too much in the mid freqs.

I think overall the track is a little too 'dry', there seems to be almost no reverb to me. It's quite fast as well (can't measure the bpm though), maybe it'd sound more euphoric to me when the tempo is slightly less.

Well, all those things I said don't make this less good of course, you'll probably have done the things for a reason Keep up the good work! When will we hear an original track once more?

LW - u will hear another original track very soon, I have a re-done version of my tune 'The Beginning' which is hopefully gonna be released under an Alphamagic label. There's also the new track from "Olly Perris & Ashley Sinclair VS Pienaar & Bamford - Slave 4 U" which I'm sure you'll be hearing sometime soon!

Very energetic drive. Reminds at the old antiloop tunes and somehow a little bit goa inspirated regarding the bassline. Acid 303 fits very good into the Veracocha environment. The piano seems to have too much mid frequencies, it sounds a little bit cheap compared to the rest of the pro sounding.

I absolutely loved this. Carte Blanche is as close to being my all time favorite tune as any tune will get. I think the harder, more energetic approach was really refreshing. My only gripe is on the technikal side of things. I think the higher frequencies was a little bit harsh, and could be turned down a little. Other than that, excellent

The acid is done on the TS-404 within fruity, and the cutoff and envelope knobs automated over time!

Liked the percussion and effects in the intro. I think the melody starts filtering up way too soon, the track barely breaks down. The acid sounds are fantastic, so is the synth playing the intro melody.

That pulsewave synth sounds great. The mix is nice and dirty now (in a good way). Great piano, mda piano?

Really loving it now with all the saw synths. Percussion is fantastic.

Ahhhhh, there's the breakdown. Maybe a bit late in the song but its very nice right from the beginning. Great strings, work really well with the piano. Sound effects are good.

WOW. That synth that comes in is incredible! Ferry/Vincent did a great job composing this melody didnt they. It sounds even better on this synth than it does in the original (probably because the original is so old).

When it all kicks in, it sounds fantastic, perfect amount of track elements. This is definitely something I'd like to hear in some dj sets.

Another quality track from bamford (loved your tracks with ReBirth.)

Outro is very well done, very professional.

Good work on this, 10/10 from me. No complaints.

Hi,

Great percussion and a sorted BD for the style, i like that. The bass really suites the song. I like that TB303 style synth at the beginning...hehe sneeky . The rev BD's and filtering fx add that little bit to the track but after the filtering i will need to get used to that piano kicking in like that, but it sounds cool. The pads and main synth are phatt, i like to see that in Hard Trance.

A very good clean production
