No more tracks

Just a suggestion, but I think that you should discontinue the sharing of new tracks / livesets / and music videoes. That way tranceaddict wont be affiliated in any way with music piracy and it wont be breaking any laws.

Instead, you could promote the top tracks and mixes from amateur TA's cause they've got some talent! Put their tracks up instead.

Anyone agree with me on this?

#1) The stuff I put up isn't illegal

#2) If I don't put music up for download then new people won't have a reliable source of acquiring quality trance tunes

#3) This site will always have music for download

you mean the producers agree with you putting their tracks available for free dowload?

Why do you think there haven't been any singles updates in a long time? For the past 7+ months I rarely put up stuff that I didn't ask permission for prior

What about this ideea? I heard some nice amateur djs sets in here.
Maybe just a few of them can be posted for a short period of time, then replaced with new ones, and so on.

Yes I know about that set but there are better ones that havent been added to live sets.
And Mr Mystery's set is on the site since ages. Maybe we need something new.

the leama & moor mix by Omegasox is very good!

Livesets arent illegal, and most of the track comes from sharing, so without that we wouldnt have the size of forum we dop have.

And it helps a lot of people get into trance

After reading your paragraph about why you disagree with me, I'm starting to see things your way now.

He is right, this site, one at a time, i have been getting some good trance, that i have really enjoyed. i am in favor of him keeping his tracks on here

Posted by noikeee on Sep-11-2003 23:23:

there should be a way to pick like the best amateur track of the month or something and put it on the main page

though the 'tranceaddict unite' chapters are pretty much a good idea of what our amateur producers do..

*Slaps face in shock*

I know, there are so many that could easily make it on to the home page and 'Compete' with the signed stuff...

The list is endless.
