Underworld NUXX. Hm, so it isn't at least Underworld (NUXX) or something ?

Posted by GrimReaper on Aug-30-2003 21:21:

To clear things out..

First came Born Slippy with no vocals in late 94 (promo) / early 95 (official).. some months later they added there the vocals. Those became the .NUXX versions we know, with the male vocals.

Underworld - Born Slippy
Original (8:29)
Telematic (9:39)

Underworld - Born Slippy.NUXX
Darren Price Remix 1 (6:28)
Darren Price Remix 2 (8:09)
Deep Pan (9:58)
Extended (11:35)
Live (10:55)
Original (9:44)
Short (4:23)
Short 2 (3:45)

There are loads and loads of unofficial / whitelabel / bootleg mixes floating around on CD-R /12" / as mp3s..

Brown Acid - Born Slippy (Pink Floyd Mix)
CJ Stone Remix
Paul van Dyk Rework
Slippery Breaks
Tribal Mix
+ several Hard House, Unknown etc. mixes.

Anyone who hasn't heard it should check this mix out, yet another unreleased PvD affair, but brilliant tuneage nonetheless.

Thanks a lot GrimReaper. Just What we needed =)

This owns, I loved it back when it first came out and love it now. If anyone has the Johan Gielen set from Sensation or the recent Paul Van Dyk set from Energy they both have played it, just an amazing track. Paul Van Dyk's Rework is really amazing. You gotta check this out

Have this on vinyl

Loved this track ever since NYE 2001, Darren Emerson was spinning on Bondi Beach, countdown to midnight, clock hits 00:00, fireworks go off, and Born Slippy kicks in

Amazing night, twas nearly 2 years ago and I'm still getting goosebumps from it

Oakey's mix hasn't even been released yet. It will come out in October along with some other mixes (read below). Carl Cox did his mix just for his own use as so many other big names (Fatboy Slim, Mauro Picotto,..) have done. Those exist but none of them hasn't been officially released.. yet. So they still belong to the masses of the unofficial mixes. Maybe some day they will see the light of day. The "Fatboy Slim Mix" i've heard, was a bootleg of Right Here Right Now and Born Slippy he did for a set as an opener. There are many more Trance mixes etc. i haven't mentioned yet. I selected just the released official mixes and some others below the official ones.

A new, updated 2003 version is rumored to be on Underworld - Anthology 1992 - 2002 (The Greatest Hits Collection), released in October 27 or so. Born Slippy 2003 will get its own release a week b4 the Anthology with Underworld's 2003 Mix + remixes from Oakey, Atomic Hooligan (who have already remixed Cowgirl/Rez), London Elektricity,..
