Well I'm currently working on a new tune called 'Diamond Dust' so I thought I'd do a little remix just to fill the gap untill thats finished
So I've decided to jump on the '3rd Earth' remix bandwagon.
As you will hear, I have ripped the vox from the original so they sound a bit crap quality, but the tune would suck without them so I kept em
Still chilled as the original but with a touch of my own energy to round the track off
All comments welcome
Great percussions, very clean. I absolutely love what you've done with the bassline of the track...you kept the main melody the same but changed the bass progressions, which I think fit the track even more now. My favorite moment in the song starts at 5:42 and ends at 5:56, I think in that part, you take the track to a whole new level melodically, and once again I LOVE the bassline chords. An awesome track, keep it up!
Really awsome dude. I like it way better then original and marco v, it is just so much more chill and trancy.
The melody even sounds somehow...improved or something, there is more consistency to it (at least I think so).
Really class though.
Cheers, Caleb
Tunage! great work buddy, really like what u'v done with this tune! Love the breakdown, and wen u start hearin the synths comin in.....\o/
nice mix bren. havent heard it on good speakers yet, but it sounds pretty good on these and the vocals sound alright too.
man, if u had this up earlier i coulda handed it to scott bond himself the other day when i saw him spin (he played 3rd earth, it was some exclusive mix of his and was really good).
anyway, good work and im looking forward to your next production.
peace,
-rob
Thanks for the great comments guys
Keep 'em comming
Nice,
I Dont like that intro sound tho. Nice simple percussion (its good when you can get away with that
). In the vocals i can hear clicking, maybes the cutting causing this?. The lead sounds a bit flat and the uplift part of the break has no power really.
I like the bassline and BD used, very clean.
good.
tezz
sounds massive mate, very solid.
good track, but as usual the lead should be a bit more prominent.. also the frecuency of the high pitched sound that comes in around 1:30 is rather high.. otherwise the track is pretty tight, really love the break and how you handle the vocals! good job!
one more thing.. there are a few skips @ 6:35 and 7:15.. anybody else having this problem?

real good. IMO i think the vocals kicked in way too soon. great drivin bassline and love the melody. for me though, it got a bit repetitive, but nothing major...still good...
yea...there a bit of skips in there...
Good, but not your best. The ideas and structure are decent, I'm just not that keen on your synths in this one. The synth that comes in near the start is highpitched, and a bit ugly really.. I love the lead melody but I dont like the synth you used. Sounds very malstromy
nice use of vocals, perc+bass etc, good track!
Nice percussion, nice bassline! Im glad you incorporated the choirs in their, thats what made the orignal tune for me! I have to agree with S2k though, its nowhere near your best
The synth in the intro does sound way to grity and annoying IMO and those skips are well annoying
, however, the vibe of the tune was nice and relaxing!
i suppose this one could of been way better (for your standards) but its deffinatly a nice filler-upper until Diamond Dust!! YAY!
Shep
OK I'm re-uploading it now so the link will be dead for an hour or so..
Right the link is now fixed, those annoying skips should be gone now
Lovely stuff like usual from you. I like that high pitched synth that comes in during the build. Like someone else said, what you did with the tones of the bass was really good
My only complaint is that I think the main lead could be a bit louder.
Although alot of people seemed to be picky about the intro, I still kind of liked it. Some nice basslines etc, nicely filled up. I like those vocals as well, sound really epic/emotional and bring the track alive a bit more.
I do feel the same about the lead as tor though, it's way to quiet and should be more 'present'.
Overall I feel you did a nice job there mate, keep it going
Greetz,
Wim
Time for a characteristically short review: in my opinion this remix is better than the original which I always thought was a little on the bland side! Now kindly stop being so good, as it pisses me right orf!

god dam amazing like usuall

finally a mix worth talking about on this tune. Thank god u didnt keep that original twangy sample riff, However the only thing that bothers me is this, the actual notes on the riff u have just dont match the original, my ears are waiting for an extra note or something and your mix seems to be missing it, i think your midi is wrong maybe ?
what can i say, absolutely massive... you are seriously my favorite TA artist, i told u that alot on MSN too
Listened to this last night......F**Kin Brilliant.
I've already earmarked it for inclusion into my next mix set (If that's OK with you??)
