Tomcraft - Brainwashed

2 remixes Laurent Konrad and Club Mix

I like the club mix!!

01.Brainwashed (Laurent Konrad Remix) [07:01]

Bit more clubby and harder. Probably see the usual old farts at radio one play it on the essential mix some night.

I think its shit and the original club mix makes me smile more

02.Brainwashed (Club Mix) [06:22]

The beats and vocal works very damn well and its a nice start of the night track to get people in the mood for dancing. gets the girls on the floor anyway.

Gonna be another hit for tomcraft

The club mix is good great beats and nice electro , tho I'd like to hear a dub with less vocals maybe

i agree a dub wud be class, not as comercial as 'lonliness' which is good

The mp3s are mislabelled. The 7:00 version is the uk club mix and the 6:23 is the laurent konrad mix. There is also an original club mix lasting for 6:17. In my opinion the uk club mix is a clear 10/10, the laurent konrad mix a 4/10 and the original mclub mix 8/10.

To sum up the above and beyond mix of lonliness :-

Annoying vocal
too old, should have been released with the originals
sounds like a rip off of the eternal

That said, you know the crowds would explode upon hearing it.

Brainwashed (mucho mix)

Not that imporessed with the mucho mix of brainwashed. God knows i love the club mix, so damn catchy and funky. Soon as i heard it i knew it would be an instant hit and dare i say it bigger than lonliness given time and airplay.

However muchos style is slowing starting to sound stale, people are starting to associate each mix he does with the last and thats not good. Its all very well having a distinctive sound but to use the same formula over and over again is no good.

i think the beats on this have more drive and a better kick and sound off them, however its his forumla of those synths that lets it down and the vocal doesnt sit well in the track anyway i think.

Still el jules will play it, and everyone will think he's a god for doing so, which means other dj's have to play it too to keep the punters happy and keep them shouting " jules plays that one ! "

Time to get the 30 somethings outta radio 1 so some decnet music can be given a chance, playing this drivel does no one favours apart from brainwashing them into liking it

I love the Club Mix! altho the vocals are shit, they are strangely very catchy, and they really do make the track. I hope this doesnt get raped as hard as loneliness did.

Brainwashed about blew my speakers I was just playing it so loud.

I wouldn't say that the vocals are my very favorite, but after the first minute and fourty-five seconds that bassline starts owning some shit.

What is labeled as the Laurent Konrad Mix:

The vocals make my ears cry. The guitar in the breakdown is cheesy and I don't like the melody of it. The electro production simply doesn't fit my tastes.

Labeled as the Club Mix:

This is a little bit more tolerable, the vocals still just don't really do anything for me.

I don't care for the Konrad Mix either, it seems discordant and not in the least bit polished. It's like they just started adding random beats just to make it busier.
