OK...i just woke up....here is a condensed review....BEST NIGHT EVER

opening set by MV was tight and amazingly well thought out....great way to get the party started.....

Surface was amazing...sound, lighting, people, temp...everything was perfect....also there were more women than men.....made the night's events more interesting to say the least

Sasha played well over 3.5 hours....and unlike Montreal 2 nights earlier...he was TOTALLY into this set....jumping all night...pumping his fist at every turn...sharing his energy with the crowd....smiling at least 100 times (No kidding)

the set was very different than at Aria....only 3 tracks repeated from that set...and the selections were amazing....he was also doing crazy ass fucked up shit with the mixer and scratching and looping and other assorted tricks with many of his tracks...it was a sight to behold

to those of u who missed him at Aria...i feel badly for u

those of u who saw him at Aria and Missed him at Surface...you have no idea what u missed.....make sure NOT to watch videos of this party cuz u may weep unconsolably

Oh god is all I can say. That must have been the party of the century. I was sick as a dog all day yesterday and was sick during the party and had to leave early cause i was sick (and i am sick here as i write this) but i am so glad I went. Apparently, unbeknown to me it was Sasha's birthday and he put on a party for us like I have never seen. I could not believe the difference between this guy last night and the reputation he's renouned for.

He came on (high as ever btw hahaha) and from the very first song he had a big grin on his face. He smiled and even danced! HE DANCED!! The crowed loved it and cheered the whole night. SASHA!! WOOOO!!!! I cant say im the biggest fan of his music (or even really the music he played last night, it was great dont get me wrong but still not my absolute favourite) but the party was so intimate it had a vibe like I have never seen. The whole time he was fucking with the mixer. causing havoc on the floor. Every one cheered and sasha went on harder and happier than ever.

The venue was perfect. the sound was great. room to dance not too hot enough good looking girls to keep my sanity (for ottawa anyway give us a break). Sound was splendid. What more can i say. this party shocked the HELL out of me. Well done lets hope you keep it up suface!

Oh and one more thing. i am sorry to those wonderful people i was with. I had to leave early cause my throat felt like it was going to explode. It was just too tough to get through the crowd. Hope you dont think im too rude!

well you said it yourself. he was high as hell. that always makes a difference with him, on his mood. :P we were talking about that at aria. we said he will be all serious and shit, unless he took something :P

i was amazed by sasha....i am not a huge fan of the music, but this time he was actually enjoying himself...and rocked it out

Aria does reek of smoke, like any other club in the world. Ottawa on the other hand is a no smoking city.

i know, but its alot harder for a bouncer to find someone smoking a joint in a crowd with 100ppl with a cigarette in their mouths then in a club with a handfull of ppl not following the rules. Not like the bouncers care that much anyways :P
