favorite pvd experience

sorry to those who are getting annoyed with all the pvd threads but...

i was sitting here reflecting today on central park and the other times i have seen him live. i was wondering was this the best time that you have ever seen pvd?

central park was amazing but for me my favorite pvd night (so far) has to be hands down nov 1st last year at the roxy. everything seemed to fall into place that night and i was completely amazed by the set he threw down. not to mention i thought the crowd that night was unbelieveable.

i was not around for his twilo days so in that respect in am inexperienced.

how bout the rest of you guys?...

seriously erin...you have to stop...i mean if it was all about an armin thread, you wouldnt be complaining, now won't you? shEEsh

like everyone is saying...pvd is having a US tour, people want to express there experience...its massive right now...and what is stopping you from posting an armin theard anyways? go for it

but..back to the subject..i have attended numerous pvd gigs, but the best and memorable moment was at space 34 , march 19. during the winter music conference w00t A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!

ummm....stop what? expressing my opinion? sorry that its a little annoying that every move PVD makes you have to orgasm about it. you dont like my bitching about the 10 million threads on here, OH WELL. as you can see, i'm NOT the only one, so i'd suggest telling someone else to "stop".

everyone knows how much of a PvD nut I am and all these threads are even annoying me... its not that we dont wanna hear about PvD its just that its confusing as fuck trying to sort through all these excessively numerous and redundant threads... not to mention that most of the threads are in the wrong area (ie if you want a track ID, put it in the Tracklist request forum)... I think the mods need to step in and clean up this shit

but this is a fair enough topic so I'll say mine was Love From Above and Love Parade 2002

nov 1, 2002 @ roxy

His gig this past February was definitely my most memorable. Maybe not the best live set I have heard him spin, but everything went perfect that night for me.

AMAZING night !

Favorite PVD expreience was at ARC NYC on a monday night. The place was packed, great crowd and PVD was paying all the right songs at the right time. Second best was at Space 34 in Miami during the WMC. When he dropped 3rd earth i was in heaven

Twilo, April 13 2001...It would be the last time he spun there..closed with For an Angel, kissed the record and tossed it to the crowd.

Summerstage at Central Park.....

......the only one ive been to

Posted by dubblies on Sep-02-2003 07:24:

Smiley DJ @ the factory, @ the Necto, @ Summerstage

My best experiences were

(a) the first time I saw him : @ the Factory in Columbus, Ohio a few months back, I forgot how long. Unbelievable. A group of us drove down in two cars, we came back as the "9th Power!" We have been causing all sorts of mischief since then and we have discovered many a desciple. That show was the beginning of the epicness for this music in Ann Arbor where we all go to school.

(b) Paul Van Dyk @ the Necto in Ann Arbor, MI. Come on guys, he comes to my own back yard and the entire trance listening community from the state of Michigan, not to mention the mid-west and a few visitors from out of town. One of the best parties I've ever been a witness. I still can't get over how great that night ended up.

(c) Summer Stage! Of course it was tremendous. All I have to say is that New York was on key and ready to party that night. The city was insane and the people were great at what they love to do, PARTY!

Wow, I can't wait to see him again somewhere. I still wish I had seen him in Miami for Ultra 5 though. There is always next year guys, and now we have more to enjoy the times!

P.S. Ultra 6...P..V...D...Ultra 6...P..V..D...Ultra 6...P...V..D!

February 2001 @ Twilo... first time i heard him drop his remix/dub of Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia... during the long-ass buildup, me and my friend matt were facing each other jumpin, when he dropped that bass, i was like WTF??!?!?! and our jaws dropped and faces turned white as if we had seen ghosts....

..and the crowd went wild.

Posted by Redeye on Sep-02-2003 17:50:

live @ Cafe Del Mar 1998, enough said...does anyone here have a memory of PvD pre-2000???? that was when he was at his best. 1997-1999 he was untouchable, well him and Oaky
