Songs with a "different" sound
Ya know...songs like Ferry Corsten - Punk, and Rock Your Body Rock, or any of Hi-Gates work, they have that different sound to it...yet people still catergorize it as Trance. Plain Trance.
I'm having a hard time try to find the exact genre of these. Anyone care to help?
Punk is like...Electro Trance
While Hi-Gate is like a hybrid of Hardhouse/Hard Trance...but what to call it?
tbh i cant be arsed to think bout stuff like that too much. i catogarise into
progressive trance
floaty trance (this basically includes trance that aint progressive, uplifitng or hard, which most of its is floaty)
uplifting trance
hard trance
a song like punk wud slip into floaty trance section
Song that immediatly comes to mind for me is King Of Clubs - Revelations (Airwave Mix), but I suppose u can class that as progressive trance (unless ur listenin 2 it from Tiesto @ Dancevalley '01
, mental).
I fink Matty V's got a point, who cares wot kind of trance it is, if it's good its good.
Id say hard trance hence "Trance".
When people ask me what do i play, I just say Trance but it ranges so far from scott project to push.
Tiesto - Lethal Industry
Three Drives - Air Traffic
not asking for songs you fools
I'm asking what you think those songs go under....which genre
I don't really think they fit into a genre. They're both kind of electro, kind of trance, a little more techy. But who really cares? I don't understand why people feel the need to put everything in a genre, as was said before if it's good it's good, so just play the damn thing already!
