how to deal with this?

well not sure how to put this or explain it even.

basically one of my friends has almost shunned all communication with me since she found out i've been doing a few , um, things
She didn't speak to me for ages, and every time i've seen her, she is so cold and only responds with one word answers!

Now i hate to lose contact with people, but today i was thinking, that if she can't accept me for what i do every now and then, then i don't need people like that to be my friends. On the other hand, i don't just wanna cut off everything just like that.

ARGH WOMEN

As we say in Portuguese, "throw her against the wall" and ask her what her problem is If there's a problem between you two, either you need to talk to her or wait for time to heal things up.

By the way, keep in mind that the "throw her against the wall" part should not be taken literally

That sounds like good advice. If she carries on like that then I would leave her to it. It sounds harsh - but for her to suddenly decide she doesn't like you anymore over something thats nothing to do with her anyway is worse imo

The lifestyle we lead has this as an irritation, I lost 2 school friends over this matter, but at the end of the day, it's my decision, and if they wanted to cut me off because of it, it was their loss, not mine, as I met many many people I am thankful for through said medium

Fella i think it might be helpful to band around words like RECREATIONAL and RESPONSIBLY whilst talking to her about these things. And let her know that suddenly ur not a massive space cadet who steals things to make ends meet.

Basically if she sees that ur stil teh original lad u always were, but with slight added Pr0nstar status, there should be no problems...

^^^ agreed, its probably through lack of understanding that she is how she is. It is a shame to loose friends over something you choose to do and they dont. My current house mates are not into the same scene as me, nor me them, but to be honest we have such a giggle experiencing each other tastes though talks n alchohol it makes our friendships stonger though our differnences.

Talk to the gal, im afraid if she dont get it she weren't the friend you thought she was, she should respect you for who you are.

Either that or throw her againt a wall, literally :P

I agree with the last two post.
Don't act selfish. She might(it's a girl,right?) have things to say that you might not have noticed about you and are actually bad.

I will take all ur suggestions on board and let u know what happens

Don't forget that you could have changed from the person she knew. It is people who recognise change, not ourselves, so maybe, u need to look at urself and see if she has a point. Just pointing out the other side

Well, if dj_mdma throw the girl against the wall and give her a right good heibutt I'm sure she won't mind those little things he had been doing before I'm proud to know we helped him find a fast and simple solution
