Saturday, September 06, 2003 @ 4pm : TRANCEADDICT soccer match

Meet-up on the mini-fields on the east side of the stadium from 3pm, let�s get the scrimmage going at 4pm. Everyone is welcome.

DIRECTIONS TO CENTENNIAL STADIUM

FROM THE WEST: EXIT 401 EAST AT RENFORTH DRIVE AND HEAD SOUTH � TURN LEFT AT CENTENNIAL PARK GATE. STADIUM IS DIRECTLY AHEAD.

FROM THE EAST: EXIT 401 WEST AT CARLINGVIEW DRIVE, TURN LEFT AT RENFORTH DR AND HEAD SOUTH � TURN LEFT AT CENTENNIAL PARK GATE. STADIUM IS DIRECTLY AHEAD.

FROM THE NORTH: EXIT HIGHWAY 427 SOUTH AT EGLINTON AVENUE. TURN RIGHT ON EGLINTON AND HEAD WEST. TURN LEFT ON RENFORTH DRIVE AND HEAD SOUTH - TURN LEFT AT CENTENNIAL PARK GATE. STADIUM IS DIRECTLY AHEAD.

FROM THE SOUTH: EXIT HIGHWAY 427 NORTH AT RATHBURN ROAD WESTBOUND. FOLLOW RATHBURN PAST RENFORTH AND TURN RIGHT ONTO CENTENNIAL PARK ROAD. STADIUM IS AHEAD ON LEFT.

TTC: TAKE SUBWAY TO ROYAL YORK STATION. BOARD #48 RATHBURN BUS. GET OFF BUS AT CENTENNIAL PARK ROAD AND RATHBURN. STADIUM IS JUST NORTH OF THE STOP ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE.

yea i used to dive as a swimmer it was funny.... this keeper from i think it was Dominican rep. taught me. he is/was their national keeper in 99.. i dunno about now. The guy is 6'4 and looks like a basketball player really but he got really sick skills between the posts. He doesn't have to cover his angles as well since his height advantage but he was a great teacher. Taught me how to judge plays, control the D, cut the angle and when to do different things to control the game.

yes, i didn't know a goalie can do so much from the back.

I'm not after you but if you don't know what you're talking about, you shouldn't say anything at all.

Soccer is WAY more physical than it seems on TV or to yours eyes perhaps. But I know for a fact, from playing in a club for more than 3 years, there is a lot of things which occur on the field that you sometimes don't see...

Perhaps that camera is always following the ball, know?
...

To give an example, I got punched before *and for the record, I'm a keeper* ... But then again, you see what you want to see...

its alot more physical than you think...considereing half of the really talented players never make it to the pros because their knees blow because of a slide tackle to the inside of the knee...ive broken both my ankles playing because someone got pissed off and lost his nervbe...if urtalented u know how to be physical without getting carded....
