Here in Medellin, Colombia we are so happy for Juanes (Juan Esteban Aristizabal), he won in the 5 categories that he was nominated, we are very proud of him because he represents our generation in this city: commited to hard work and passionate about all that life has.

I knew him abut 12 years ago when he was the lead singer of a heavy metal band, just a regular guy with his tigth jeans, black shirt and long hair, he has been able to climb to the top without forgetting where he came from.

Way to go Juanes !!!

i think it was tight that it was broadcasted on cbs and with spanish commericals. Hispanics..on the up and up.
