Chemical Record's west coast, usa shoppers

Has anyone on the west coast of the US purchased records from Chemical REcords in the UK? If so, how long does it take for your orders to arrive?

usually takes 4-6 days for me and im in California. But one time it took almost 2 weeks. It gets delivered by the Postal service so im guessing thats why sometimes it takes longer.

I'm on the East Coast, but it's still pretty much the same. A few months ago you'd get your records in 3-4 days, but lately there seems to be some custom issues or some other unforseen problem, as they can take upwards of 3 weeks.

But that's the same way with all vinyl shops atm, so stick with Chemical.

Chemical needs a FedEx option. They have way too many PROMOS for sale week in, week out, and I simply hate the wait! I have at least 7 records floating around the mail right now! I only dream of an express shipping option one day...

My budy ordered from them a month and a half ago. He complained so they sent him a new shipment of the same records...and those seem to be lost also. However, I have never had problems so meh..

It's been consistently 5 business days. And I hate the wait too, but for the price of the Fed Ex option at Juno you can get another record on your order from Chemical, and the time difference isn't that huge...

Plus they get so many promos in how can you resist?

My orders usually take no longer then 2 weeks. If they do take longer it's due to the fact that Canada Customs has searched the package.

I highly recommend them.

Release Records-Just found out about this one, They are possibly the best North American ONline shop, but they;re prices are a little high! Check em out. I might start putting these guys in the upcoming release thread.

Planet X is the best American shop, imo. I sporadically order from them if I can't find something at Chemical. Their samples just suck.

I gave release records a check. I think their site sucks ass... There isn't even a clear link to their record selection!why can't any of the North American stores make a site thats easy to navigate

7 days, it's now 3 weeks since i ordered, and most of the new stuff i wanted has since become available locally in sydney, and i still don't have my order. looks like the industry has finally caught up here, and i won't be going through the hassle of chemical records again.

I haven't seen any decent US shop, they might have good shipping b/c they're closer but the selection always lacks in comparison.

I haven't ordered from a us store since I learned about Chem and Juno, they have soooo much more in, not to mention the promo's you'd never see here. Shipping isn't that bad either.

I find dancerecords.com to be alright for a u.s. site. All my orders have been processed right away and arrived quickly and pretty inexpensively. Selection is ok, some weeks better than others, but unfortunately they list out of stock items that will probably never come back in, so it can get a bit annoying.
