it was about time it got closed. it got out of hand since none of the members posted there anymore. i think it is a good decision of ian to close it. lisa and i talked about this while i was nyc.

many of us met through ppr and made good friends! be happy!

no he's not...he abuses his power and ridicules other members in the process...he's a totally immoral and needs to get off his power trip because he hardly made any friends because of it...those dont look like signs of a good mod to me...

agreed. and also, i don't see what the closing of the thread actually did. i mean... there was nothing wrong with the thread. there were ALWAYS people spamming the thread, so i dont see the big deal if a few more spammed here and there. arturo and drizzt were the king of spamming. these new guys have nothing on those two. and btw, the title of the thread does say 'ALL SPAM GOES HERE: Post Padding Room' so was that not the original purpose. and so what none of the regular's posted anymore. i was starting to again. maybe everyone would have eventually started up again. i just think the closing of the thread was so stupid. no actual purpose behind it. if someone can explain to me what good came from it, please do... cause i just dont get it. dumb idea. pointless... maybe just unsticky it... not close the thing. so gay...

the thread served its purpose for me. that is why i am not upset. i met my near and dear friends and now our friendship transcends the messageboards. The PPR Crew is world wide and our bonds hold us together. Not the thread. i am sorry for the people who missed out, but this is the pattern of history..things come and go.

it died for me a while ago anyway. the thread, that is. the love...is everlasting.

nope... definitely not cheesy. if it weren't for that thread, i think the only person i would actually keep tabs with is john. that thread introduced me to a lot of TAs. it also introduced me to a lot of other views on things. it wasn't just a spam thread. there were TONs of good conversations on a wide array of topics in that thread. PPR 4 lyfe.
