This is gonna sound like a dumb question but...
How do I burn a .wav or .mp3 file onto a cd and use a text file to break it up into tracks so I don't have to edit the actual .wav file and break it into the individual tracks (which takes a couple of days to do!)?
Re: This is gonna sound like a dumb question but...
find or create a cue file for the mix and then load the cue file in nero/cdrwin/favourite app and then burn it
Search in the how to forum for a more specific description, there have been a few topics on it.
for some reason Nero never lets me use the cue file even if its the correct one and can't split the tracks
sux ass
yep do it the CUE file way...just go through CDRWINs Help file and learn how ot do it.
Thus said the (mp3) Lord.

Perhaps it's an old version of Nero? I know the older versions were notoriously bad at using cue files, try updating....
Or use a better program like CDRWin or Alcohol 110%
thanks,
ill have to give that a try
whats the latest v of nero?
Nero 6 ,
Nero Ultra Edition 6.0.0.11

or you dont care?
monkey says a stupid question is one that isnt asked
nero is alright for cue files but it takes forever to load the damn thing is all
if you converted the mp3 to a wav file then the cue would load instantly but in the time it takes to convert, you could have just loaded it as an mp3
lol to gumble
Fireburner is another good app for cue burning

I just go into nero, drag the file, go into properties and put in splits at the right points. Only takes a few mins and save the problems of cues not being written perfectly.
