This is probably the tougest group though

Group 2
Teams .............. Pld W D L GS GA Pts
Denmark ............ 6 4 1 1 12 6 13
Romania ............ 7 4 1 2 19 7 13
Norway ............. 7 3 2 2 8 5 11
Bosnia-Herzegovina . 6 3 0 3 5 7 9
Luxembourg ......... 6 0 0 6 0 19 0

Pld: Matches played W: Won D: Drawn
L: Lost GS: Goals for GA: Goals against
Pts: Points
Here are the remaining matches

Denmark 10/09/03 Romania
Luxembourg 10/09/03 Bosnia-Herzegovina

Norway 11/10/03 Luxembourg
Bosnia-Herzegovina 11/10/03 Denmark

If Bosnia doesn't fuck it up in Luxembourg on Wed. then it will be the most exciting last round of qualifications next month.

My prediction : the 2 teams coming out of the group > Denmark & Bosnia

if only italy played like that in every game. the second half was a blitz. and del piero is still god. zidane may be a better all round player but del piero has so much more style on the ball that zidane.

I'm pretty certain we will. Poland has a descent record against Sweden and everytime we do play them, win or loose, we always seem to dominate the match by playing excellent football, until they nib us in the arse undeservedly.

Excluding the latest 5-0 loss in Stockholm

You watching it anywhere?
I'll try to catch both group B game somewhere downtown. We'll be cheering on Danmark for obvious reasons

Posted by bass drive on Sep-09-2003 04:17:

I was thinkig to watch the games on campus

where do you guys watch the games?

Posted by Dj-HordasH on Sep-09-2003 04:28:

Wherever we find a bar that carries TV Romano 2, somewhere around Ryerson since most of us will have to come out in the middle of the classes to catch the game. Well make the tour of bars on Young street tomorrow to inquire about their capabilities of their satellite, if we cant find anything in the area my buddy knows some around St.Clair I think. Ill let you know tomorrow

What campus are you @ ?

Posted by bass drive on Sep-09-2003 04:59:

ya dude please let me know

a friend told me that we can go watch at some friends room. he is supposed to have a good football channel. I thikn he is a crack head who confuses euro 2004 with EPL hah

Posted by Dj-HordasH on Sep-09-2003 05:19:

Well it's like this:

There's TVR2 and ROMANIA INTERNATIONAL

At 23:00 local time Lux - Bos is on TVR2, Dan - Rom is on on R.International

That's 4pm here, my buddies watched games on Romania International before so you should be set either way, that channel is available on satellite in Toronto. TVR2 is a different story however and we'll be hunting tomorrow... I'll let you know what the plan is, if we find TVR2 good, if not we'll watch Danmark-Romania...

I'll let you know what gives later today

Cheers

Posted by PacMan on Sep-11-2003 13:22:

sweet.

denmark drawed with romania, now they will go too win in bosnia. if they do norway is in the euro

Posted by Dj-HordasH on Sep-16-2003 02:48:

I didn't get the chance to watch Dan-Rom but I heard the penalty kick was a farce. It's too bad because Romania is still probably the best team in this group but it would be just insane if Bosnia came out on top of this crazy group.

All we need to do is take Danmark @ home, and the Bosnian Federation has moved the match from Sarajevo to Zenica, where Bosnia has never lost a single point. The supporters are only a couple of meteres away from the pitch and nobody is sitting down in the entire stadium. You can expect an insanely electric atmoshpere as this is the game of the decade for Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Watch the highlights of the game in Copenhagen :: Danmark - Bosnia 0-2

PUSI KURAC KO TE JEBE MOZE BOSNA I BEZ TEBE JUGOSLAVIJO

Cheers

Posted by bass drive on Sep-24-2003 20:18:

hey man
incase you don't know, the Bosnia - Denmark game will be played in Sarajevo instead of Zenica. I can uderstand why they shouldn't allow games to be played there, but they shouldn't start applying this from this game. I mean how was it good enough for Norway to play there?

best of luck to Bosnia

Thanx mate.
Zenica is an exceedingly intimidating environment, after much lobbying by Norway and Denmark in unison Uefa had finally given in. Many international encounters have been played there and its iniquitous for UEFA to make this decision right before the biggest game of the decade for us. Theres only about 2 stressful weeks left, well see if our boys are up to the task...
