PVD october 12 @ the guvernment

I am from alberta and my boyfriend and i will be flying into toronto for a week to have thanksgiving with my family in oak bay, close to honey harbour. ANYWAYS, we really really want to catch this show but we don't have wheels and no one is able to take us to or from toronto on that sunday or monday. So i am brainstorming to find a way to get there and back. Greyhound won't be making a trip back until the next day. Also, does anyone know how much tickets cost and how i could get ahold of some? Any light on this subject would be REALLY appreciated!. Thank-you!

Rent a car...you can usually get one for around $60 a day (with tax and insurance included)...

You'll be able to buy tickets from www.ticketmaster.ca

Im 21 and I rented a car under my name from National a couple of weeks ago. I think they charge you $10 more or something like that. Some places (Avis and another one) wont let you rent out a car but I know that others will. As far as tickets go, they arent on sale yet but i'd imagine that you'll be able to find some online in a fwe weeks time as is the case with all events @ GUV!

actually... A friend of mine 21 and he was able to rent a car for 1 week without paying any extra fees. Check out Budget, I think that's what he used to rent his car.

You can rent a car from Avis if you're 21 too... Tested & Certified by myself.

3 questions;

What time is last call in Toronto?
How much are drinks at the Guverment?
What time do the big name dj's generally start spinning at the Guverment?

You can prob find tickets at the door for an insane price. I'd say $50, wouldn't be surprised...

weinerschnitzel... mmmmmhh. I had a lot of those this summer

All you out-of-towners should get your tickets in advance. during the Tiesto party last year, I actually sold the extra tickets I had for $60/each to SCALPERS at the door... i heard they were selling them for about $100/each.

ok- the story about the name wienerschnitzel....

i have alot of german friends, and i had a particularly special one who was really really slow.. i mean.. special. Anyways, when i first met him i told him that i spoke german too, in which i most definatly don't, and he said to prove it to him. So i started yelling anything i could think of that could be german like ACHTUNG AUTOBUS!! and BIER!! and WIENERSCHNITZEL!! and then i think i ran out of stupid things to say and so the name wienerschnitzel stuck for trying to be a smart ass...
