I believe this is the music discussion forum, not the immature, music bashing, disrespectful, forum of hate.

Bugger off until you have something constructive to say.

Back to the topic at hand, I'm not much of a hip-hop guy but I do like songs by Dialated Peoples, and I do not believe they are too mainstream. (not sure if they are underground or whatever though)

Im not sure what you mean of "underground"...I'm assuming hip hop that you won't hear on the radio or TV...hip hop you actually have to look for to appreciate rather than thrown at you like these shit songs on the radio and MTV...

some good groups/MCs(this is by no mean a complete compilation of good talent)
Jurassic 5
Punchline & Wordsworth
Pharaoe Monche
Gangstarr
Anything from WuTang
De La Soul
A Tribe Called Quest
Blackalicious
J Live
KRS 1

These are only SOME MCs that I can think of off the top of my head at this moment...

J LIVE!! Definetly...his All of The Above album is sooo class. Ditto with Tribes 'Midnight Marauders' n 'The Low End Theory'. Another one i like...kinda commercial yet still class - Talib Kweli.

Yeah, maybe.. but leverage is allowed

Anyway, most Hip-Hip is "semi-underground" in a way, in that it never/rarely gets played on commercial radio/tv - which is flooded with crap Rap and other assorted junk (kinda like trance i guess..)

back to topic, some my favourite Hip-Hop includes
Jurassic 5
Blackalicious
De La Soul
Run DMC (RIP)
Mos Def
KRS 1
Black Eyed Peas (albeit, not as hip-hop as they used to be..)

With a DJ name as creative as djRyan Jonathon, you have already shown you're somebody chock full of originality and creativity and that post whoah, to call that just "intelligent" is a huge understatement. That most is beyond intelligent, it's just amazingly clever and beyond words of how incredible it is. You've suddenly reached a place in my heart as being TA's most awesomely creative, open minded and down right intelligent individual.
