Orkidea is becoming the first Finnish DJ to release an artist album. The album, titled 'Taika - Selected Works '99 - '03' is released through Universal Music on October 27th featuring a selection of his sought after own productions as well as remix contributions for others artists.

The track list is as follows: 1. 'Inner Peace' 2. 'Unity' 3. 'Beautiful' 4. 'Melancholy' 5. 'Stage One' (Space Manoeuvres) 6. 'Flight 643' (Tiesto) 7. 'Rush' (Aalto) 8. 'Labrynth' (Leama).

Contains the unreleased Orkidea Rmx of Stage One and since there are only 8 tracks on it, all tracks are probably full lenght

i can't believe it, after all these years his remix of stage one finally gets the attention it deserves.

do you know if this is going to be a cd or vinyl release? also, i always thought the "labrynth" on the cover of the five am release was a typo....

I can imagine this getting a 12" release too as all of his productions have been only on vinyl so far. Some remixes have been released on CD.

It's a cd release and the good news is that it's unmixed

Vinyl release is highly unlikely, although it's still under consideration.

thanks, i'm happy either way since it's unmixed; i'd prefer a 4x12" release though.
