now, that is just not true. there are other subgenres that have nothing or little in common with gabber or happy hardcore that, i agree, tend to be pretty cheesy (especially hhc). u certainly can find quality, cheese-free hardcore out there, u just need to know what to look for.

ok maybe all of its not cheese but the majority is. My point was that it is hardcore anyway

it's pizzacore, dude. the thing is most people who are into hardcore don't even consider hhc such. it's just too childish to be taken seriously.

heehe its nice listening to this kind of msuic and kinda pause for a bit and forget about your problems.

i thought people still only listened to hardcore in america

Posted by Trancewave on Sep-11-2003 13:11:

Thumbs down

that was crap. Ultra cheesy too.

Posted by LiveTheDream on Sep-11-2003 13:15:

Very cheesy track, get rid of the male voice, make that other voice loader soften it abit and then speed it up, then you have a top track.

Posted by chojin on Sep-11-2003 16:26:

na not all hardcore is chedcore...

get this file for an example of what i would call non-cheese, or upfront hardcore.

P.S only first 20MB of mix btw..

http://chojin.devour.org/02_sharkeys_mix-drum.mp3

i myself, am quite fond of the cheese though

Posted by Noisician on Sep-11-2003 16:30:

terror and industrial hardcore are the most interesting subgenres, imo.

gabber can be incredibly cheesy sometimes.

too hardcore for me mate

too much base. not enough synth and cheese.
