Technics Vinyl Emulation CD Player Update

for those that saw the last thread you may be intereted to know that the technics cd players will defiantely eb availible in early 2004 and only have a price tag of 800 each! (Not liek the 1000's people were origianlly saying) also alot cheaper than the original pioneer 1000's price! expect a huge drop in the price of pioneer equipemnt if you cant afford these technics!

Not really :/ It's only about 50 more than what you'd pay for a Pioneer CDJ1000MkII

Posted by Nell on Sep-11-2003 18:04:

considering the pioneer 1000's were 1k each when the first came out (dropepd down to 800 for ages until recently) its a bloody good deal. they were originally rumoured to be 1000's each.

Understand that cd players have always been more expensive than decks. but the format is ALOT cheaper to buy.

dj tek, i go tthe info from technics

Are you talking about these? They look nice. I wish I had the money for them.

Is there also a 1210 version of this player coming?

I'm going to Germany this tuesday to buy new equipment, but maybe I'd better wait for this beautiful piece of equipment...

But I only want DJ equip in black.

Regards,
DC

the one feature that the pioneer 1000 has over this deck is the digital readout of the track. that's a huge feature in my book.

Posted by Floorfiller on Nov-09-2003 15:48:

damn those shots look awesome. i wish i had money to buy them hehehe...but i think i'll settle for some real decks first hehehe...

Posted by jcosgrove on Nov-09-2003 20:41:

im definitely gonna get one!!

I think the BPM counter will inspire cheating

Also who think these will take over as the standard in place of the cdj1000s?

I want a pair really bad, but 2600 bucks for a pair is a bit steepppp...

My friend who is a DJ @ Spundae, Las Vegas knows quite a number of people in the industry. He told me a few weeks back that they apparently aren't living up to the hype.
