put something on there about vinyl

i don't buy CD's cuz i have no need for them

i buy records

not everyones a DJ
not everyone owns a turntable
not everyone buys vinyl
lots of people buy cds, lots of people burn cds, lots more people own cd players than turntables

if vinyl technology was better than cd for the layman, it would be more popular than it is

true true

but i "support" the artists by throwing down barrels of money on vinyl.
but after doing that quiz, it looks like i'm a "music pirate" that doesn't support the music at all, which is far frome true.
oh well, its getting stats for some report

I don't pirate NEARLY as much music as most. I listen to Livestreams all the time, then download a few singles, and then look for them on vinyl! **GOES ON VINYL BINGE!**

By the way, anyone know when Charger - Turtle Beach is coming out on vinyl? Blah.

Posted by Clyde77 on Sep-14-2003 16:49:

its all about the quality, if it sounds good ill buy it.

lmao you posted at a music forum, results are OBVIOUSLY bias. Your teacher's going to bag on you so you better not say where you got the info from.

^^ I don't think he is going for a perefectly representable population since this doesn't look like the work for a dissertation. Most schools are fine with anyone answering. also it should be fine to use a music board since that is the target population, music listeners.

and are you gonna post up your interpretation of the data?

its stupid downloading mp3's and copying them. its ok to copy them from the original cd.

Posted by noikeee on Sep-14-2003 18:28:

the questions are kinda biased and don't reflect at all the complexity of the problem. like, i won't buy music because most of what i like is on vinyl and only avaiable on online shopping. but good luck for your school report.

I download music personally but I also spend lots of money on vinyl and the stuff I do download and burn to CD i wouldn't buy anyway, so the artist isnt really losing out.
