Once and for all... TIESTO vs. FERRY

these 2 individuals alone never been compared on this forum.. its always been tiesto vs armin, or armin vs ferry, or tiesto, armin or ferry.. so here it is.. the original masterminds of the Gouryella Duo... who do YOU prefer ????

Nowadays both of the DJS quite suck , Ferry plays too much Electro while Tiesto plays too much techno baaa ! 2 genres which i totaly dislike ! But if i had 2 choose only between them 2 i would choose Ferry with a minor lead over tiesto because as i said both of them are CRAP IMO !!!

Armin , Misja and PVD are the best DJs nowadays , tiesto and ferry's days are over !

It's close, but given his recent production work I'd have to say that Ferry has pulled out ahead for me.

Trance needs to evolve, and he's at least making an attempt. Tiesto is a fantastic producer as well, but Ferry is plainly the better DJ.

Probably FC, because his tracks are consistently good while Tiesto has great tracks and bad ones. This should be the next poll:

at the moment, tiesto. ferry became a joke of himself. remember the albion days

he was never a top dj though. but as producer.. that's a tottaly different matter.

tiesto is becoming quite commercial. but still doesn't play obvious crap like ferry does, plus pick some really good prog/techy tunes.

Definately Tiesto, Ferry has lost his touch. His newer remixes blow and productions aren't far behind, "Rock Your Body Rock".

Tiesto, he uses more than one synthesizer. 90% of ferry songs are so predictable after a while, yawn. Tiesto is so much more rounded, and for anyone who thinks ferry holds a flame, from what ive seen his main defence is stuff done with armin, if you want to get into collaborations Kamaya painters alone is enough to shut down pretty much all his works, in addition tiesto does quite a few more sets than ferry, he expiriments more and just delivers better sets, ferry i will credit, he has some upstanding toons, but he doesnt really compare to tiesto,

hmmm.. yeah lots of ferry's stuff are similar but there are many innovative, fresh sounding stuff as well.. yet still with the ferry feel and style.. Pocket Damage, Insolation, Dance Valley Theme 2001, Needlejuice, and Punk and Indigo arent your average uplifting epic long breakdown to climax style trance.. ferry and both tiesto have the ear for creating melodies and moods to fit each track.. just their style is completely different so its more whos style you feel more or who is relevant to your style.. and Kamaya Painters alone would shut down ferry's collab works isnt really a fact.. compare Kamaya Painters to Veracocha..tho KP had great tracks, none of them were an instant classic like Carte Blanche was... also the Albion remix of Endless Wave gave it a punch that was needed for that track imo...
