Does anyone know what software I can use to play SVCD movies? I've installed Elecard but it's only 30 day shareware. I tried using a crack but it doesn't work.. Any ideas ??

If the movie you're trying to view is in bin format or already on a CD you can always use WinDVD/PowerDVD.

i use InterVideo WinDVD 5 platinum, you can download it off their website (just google it) and crack is on kazaa, or pm ill send it to you

Actually only DVD programs will play svcd.

Ya I agree, it will play vcd,but scvd encoding is higher, so media player will no be able to play it.

lol but im too lazy to find it elsewhere...maybe if i got off my lazy ass and actually called up stupid rogers id have decent internet...then i could find stuff...but im too lazy...so basically nothings gonna happen

i thought an MPEG2 codec would do the job ..

WMP SHOULD play dvds/svcds if u have purchased/got a hold of the 'Fraunhoffer DVD Codec for WMP' ... that is all that is required for WMP to play MPEG2 ..

thou as stated, winDVD, and moreover, powerDVD, are better solutions!

i installed the elecard mpeg2 codec package before... its supposed to get WMP to play svcd files but the problem is that the aspect ratio is all nuts and everything is squeezed horizontally... anyone else have the same problem?
