Haha. True.

And in the middle there are tornadoes. So anywhere you live you're fucked all around hehe.

Plus there is a giant fault line under NYC that was only recently discovered. The buildings there are not designed for earthquakes, so it could be really bad if one hit there.

AND we're by the Pacific. If Godzilla feels like it, he could march over here from Japan and mess with San Francisco

Earthquakes are some shit...been through a few in L.A. and a 7.1 here in Seattle (luckily it was like 20 miles deep so it only accounted to somewhere around a 6.6). Personally, I dont like it when one of the few times I try and play basketball, I see some damn waves going through the wood floor and shit starts falling off of the ceiling (only later that day for the gym to collapse from structural damage)

do you really get earthquakes that often? i've never felt an earthquake. if i could get through my time in california without experiencing one i wouldnt be too upset.

and the one thing we dont have in the US (maybe hawaii) is volcanic activity. that shit is scary too.

Posted by LiveTheDream on Sep-15-2003 12:55:

England has had one earthquake, and i was in a night club at the time, "damn this place is rocking tonight".

Posted by DjSimonB on Sep-15-2003 13:40:

I'm in Scotland, we don't get any hurricanes, earthquakes, etc here

The East coast doesn't miss out on all the fun either. There aren't any hurricanes or earthquakes, but a twister tore through Univ of MD college park a year or two back.

Hehe Ok.

It's still the most amazing place I've ever seen and maybe ever will.

I might try and get a job there one year just because I love it so much.
